what i dont get is that i just got tuned on my 75 shot on my 05 Z and i did 350whp and 400tq... i got tuned with uprev tho idk if that makes much of a difference
Not bad. I just had my 2008 mustang gt on a dyno and Im running the ZEX wet kit to. I currently have 100 shot without tune running on 93 octane and got 400 whp with the shot and my fuel and nitrous line were real loose and spraying everywhere. I forgot to tune my car before the dyno run. So im hopeing it does better next dyno with 100 shot tune. Your car sounds good
Because u have to give some room for the car to actually move. Too tight and u can account for a loss of 2-6% in power between a run. U want it to climb A LITTLE towards the rollers.
Ahh who cares about the dyno print out ,since we took this car to the track and go that slip from that place. That is the one that really counts anyway.
hey i have some questions about the utec and nitrous and if it can control everything as far as when to spray and program the tps off the utec, just got some questions, please get at me.
The UTEC comes with a Molex connection for NOS activation and also good to have is a remote map selector so u can change the map on the fly from your NOS tune to a Stock tune and what every other jet sizing you may interchange with.
The UTEC activates based on TPS and RPM. You can get more info from their site.
what kind of timing changes were required to give the best results? How much tuning total? I have a UTEC and am considering nitrous now that I have all the bolt-on's. 50whp is a serious improvement on the street
Negative timing changes are required, but more important is having the AFRs straight. Sorry, but my brother is the one that tunes the UTEC and he is not around at the moment.
Not on this dyno man, perhaps u are looking at either DJ or Dynapac numbers. All the G35 and Z33 that have been on these rollers from stock to mild bolt ons have been in the 237-255whp That is all.
the 280hp you are expecting (as claimed from the factory)is at the crankshaft buddy, not the wheels. Fifty whp correlates to approx. 80 at the crank on these cars, and is a huge improvement
beautifull sound! .............

On the same brand of dyno? What was your correction factor on it?
Also this one on the video was not a uprev motor either.

Also the harder u strap it down, the points where its being held down then tends to reduce the patch contact surface of the tyre to the rollers.
Xeneize05 3 years ago
Why don't you strap it down proper?

So either the people here have a different meaning of the word "little". Or the car needs the extra 2-6% on the dyno printout.....
And how about reduced resistance of missing the second roller and better printout readings?...
Nice rims on the car btw.

why does your stock line goes up to 245hp?!?!??! it suppose to be 280 at least and with 75shot it would be 355hp~
wtf?!?!?!?

what else do you have done? is it just 75 shot w/utec tune?
wetback2k6 4 years ago
Borla exhaust, Popcharger, underdrive pulley, 3.9final gear. That is all I can remember from this customer's car.

I dont think the owner has ran it at the track just yet. I will tell him to post in the event that he has done so.
