I think it looks great. I'm already on my dealer's list to get a production slot and will trade my 2007 X5 4.8i for an X6. The market will get used to the looks like it always does, especially when they bother to look beneath the skin (and beneath the hood) to see the real value of this vehicle. Looks like a Pontiac Aztec? Idiots. The Aztec looks the way it does because GM cost controls required it be build on a minivan platform. This is anything but a minivan.

The x6 is hot!.. I can't wait for this to come out! It's exactly what I was looking for. It reminds me of the Jeep Jeepster concept. I'm not sure if anyone here, remembers it, but it was sort of the same principal, except BMW actually is producing it... too bad for Jeep, their missing out, just like how Chevy is missing out an updated Camero, only debuting it too late... I wonder if the Jeepster will come back.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I live in Chicago and need a car I can drive in the snow but I hate the look feel of SUVs. When the Jeepster concept came out in like '98-99 I thought it was perfect for me and was bummed that it never was produced. I would gladly trade in my 330CI for this car.

Bengle is getting better. The first year here was rather ugly, but BMW is making some sexy shit now. The X6 is no exception. I absolutely love the look of my 335i coupe, and the X6 reminds me of it.

Bangle is designing cars under the supervision of BMW,I think BMW might know more about their own vehicles than you do. Americanizing? BMW is becoming a much more global company but the bavarian design elements are obviously still present. Its called progression folks,BMW has been doing so since 1916.

I expect to see the X6 in 2009 or 2010. We were at BMW Roadster Homecoming in South Carolina this weekend, and saw an X6 sporting "camoflage". They also had the X6 under wraps during our factory tour and catered dinner on Saturday evening. Looks like the Z4 production will shift from S.C. to Germany, and be rebadged the Z2. Very cool factory. Not as cool as the Performance Driving Course though! AWESOME!!!!!
