Dammit, I started a run-through of MM and I haven't yet been able to go through the game with the deku mask replaced with a bottle. So I replaced the lens of truth with a bottle without getting the goron mask and now I gotta reach Snowhead with no goron mask.

So I did this to my Magic beans (Because hey, they're pretty useless) but now it turns out I need them. How I do I get those back? If I go and buy some from the guy in the Swamp, the bottle is still there. But when I did this to my Deku Nuts and picked up some from some grass to a Deku Baba, they're in my inventory again... but goddammit I need the beans xD

no, unfortunately you can't get your ocarina back from the skullkid... because the ocarina will only appear in his hand if you don't have the song of time. if you have the ocarina but not the song of time (that is imposible wihtout gameshark) then he would still have the ocarina.

But! fortunately you can still play the song of time and play on as 'normal' by using the honey and darling method to get an ocarina on B.

Slowi (Yadokingu) and I discussed this stuff a little bit and we figured out, that it is best to replace deku mask, deku nuts and create an invisible bottle (the one shown in slowi's vid).

later in the run we get 4 deku nuts back for garo's master from the palm trees next to the GB fairy fountain entrance. afterwards we wrong warp with fairy fountains to snowhead ;)
