The World Health Organization, Center for Disease Control, and many government bodies around the world have called for the resumed use of DDT in 3rd world countries. His claims that DDT causes cancer and blindness have no factual basis. The United States sprayed 800,000 tons of DDT before its use was discontinued. No change in the cancer rate and no cases of blindness.
