Those strums on the guitar instantly make me think of a rugged loose cannon cop on the edge that doesn't play by the rules and who just lost his partner in a gang shoot out, now he's drowning his sorrows with a beer in some sketchy bar, or he's smoking a cigaret in some crappy diner while it's raining outside. Actually most smooth jazz or blues type music makes me think of this scenario. lol, it's such an action movie cliche.
This music is created by a very greaaat artist named Yoko Kanno with coporation of Origa wich does amazing vocals for many songs of the album, Susumu hirasawa is also an artist that create's music for anime, his work is also as deep and beautifull as yoko kanno,,, i recall first listening to this in dark time's, came to aid perfectly sooo beautifull and soul moving music,,, very very touching,,,
