  • @tyrongkojy I was being cynical. ;-) YT scientific literacy ranges from the truly inspiring to the unbelievably poor. (Though I'll stand by the statement that the average is depressing.) I think the "unbelievably poor" segment is the most vocal. Amusingly, they're also the ones who usually have their own "theory" which proves Einstein wrong, without even requiring Calculus or Differential Equations. I've started referring them to Sean Carroll's "Alternative-Science Respectability Checklist".

  • @tyrongkojy I don't think it's really worth worrying about. It's not like it's likely to destroy the scientific literacy of YouTubers. (Which is arguably hovering at about a Planck Length from zero anyway.) I just figured I'd mention. ;-)

    A small notation in the description here would be good, yes.

  • Minor error at 4:55 . LHC collides protons with protons, and lead ions with lead ions, but not protons with antiprotons.
