First time i heard this was in Pacha, Ibiza. I was with my girl and 2 friends i met there. I was off my f`king chops and about midnight, this came on. I lost it man:) I don`t think i could of bounced any fkn higher lol. And then everytime during whole 3 weeks i was there, no matter where i was or what i was doing, i`d lose it all over agin!!
They got no fkn idea what they missed. Good dance tracks are few and far between nowadays. And are usually remixed, resampled calssics...get ur own i say!!
Summer 91 to be precise :) But now come to think of it, (might need help from some old skool ravers on this bit)the club was in Ibiza town. Not san antonio. That`s Es Paradis the big club there? The one that fills with fkn bubbles and foam and shit at midnight? So then Pacha WOULD be the correct location. This place had rising walkways and lil sitting areas around the edge. Big and wide as you came in, then the dj was at the middle 2wards the back. Put me out of my misery, have i got it right?
the songs of today even the so called club music are too watered down, this song is a small window ,a taste of the great golden era of clubbing at Wings, Fantasia,Caddies,Quiet Cannon,Premiere,Circus. 1988-1993.Our era set the standard for clubbing.I went to several so called clubs in the west side and all of them were playing crap like AC/DC and VanHalen, grat groups but not for clubbing. The best songs they played were Stacey Q and taylor dayne

...sheer disappointment I felt when the lights came on to signal the end. I went home in a wow trance and wanted the whole world to experience what i just had.
Ancientraver, I had much the same experience, a bus load of us travelled to the warehouse in Glasgow from Edinburgh in 1990. When we arrived people were dressed in all sorts of weird outfits and dancing on the dance floor in a way I had never seen before with hoods up(before hoodies were frowned upon), I thought I had been dragged into some strange cult and was kinda freaked. After a few hours I found myself lost in the music on the dance floor and will never forget the sheer disappointment I f

happy days!!!!.... i was 21 when this came out, and use to have this banging at high volume in my Brooklands 2.8 V6 Ford Capri i had at the time while cruising down and around town picking up the babes in town......sweet!!!!
i was born in 1991, im 19 now but this is my type of music! FPI project, CRW, M people, Alison Limerick, Collaspe, Robin S, soul 2 soul, Black Box, Masters at Work, secret life and many more, fuck the shit that gets played today!

One of my favorite tracks of all time *so* uplifting. The era this came out was almost certainly the best years of my life. It's been said a million times before but late 80s early 90s were really as good as it gets - and it ever likely to be. Anyone who was there...just drift away listening to this track :)))))
Damn if only i had a hot tub time machine...the battles would hit a fever pitch in Club nu on South Beach when the Dj wouyld play this song.....Truely Awesome House!!!
Maybe, in fact, we are/were the Golden Generation. It feels like it. People who were clubbing 88-92, all seem to think it was an ultra-special time for music. And we didn't really know what we were doing; it just kind of happened spontaneously; everything came together. Respect to the Golden Generation. Keep the faith.
@Mardyfella Very true comment I'd been clubbing since I was in my mid-teens in 1982 in 1988 and the old scene was getting jaded when I went to Spectrum (at Heaven )in the Spring of 1988 - I'd seen some people at the Bournemouth Weekender a few weeks earlier in the bandannas and shit and wondered what the hell they were dressed like that for! - and soon realised what they were all about and my life was never the same again!
specialgravy has a point, they should have an old school night; don't know about 12 hours, I am 42 now, don't know if I could hang like the old days...well..maybe 11 hours!!! LOL Thanx!
clubs these days need to do a once a month old skool reunion..share the tunes and forget about the world for at least 12 hrs...and who knows the good times might not be that far away....coz i miss em...
classic, old school, canat beat it,never get anything like this again,a think clubs round the country should hold retro nights with all the timeless 90s dance floor classics, nuff said!!!
