Marilyn could be a role model because she accomplished tremendous things having started from dirt poor roots. You can admire her accomplishments without having to bring her personal transgressions into it.
two different hospital exits...two different mob scenes. Same result--hysteria. But believe me, folks, she was very glad to see those mobs. Both these incidents happened as her movie career began to falter. She would have gone right back into the hospital, had there not been screaming fans and press. It was at these moments she was her happiest.
I actually believe she loved it. That was why she began her career as a Hollywood actress in the first place. Many interviews of MM imply she loved the attention, she loved being a living legend. But what I agree on is that she always seemed happy and calm, not openly satisfied with the mobs.
with all due respect, why is she ur role model? she had alot of problems...she took pills and drank and slept with married men. don't get me wrong, i love her movies and she was beautiful, but i would never want to be like her.
You can't have anyone as a role model and expect everything they did to serve as a guide for your own life. You have to accept that they were a human being and made mistakes and use their faults as lessons.
If it weren't for Marilyn's demons we would never have witnessed her incredible ambition, willingness to fight, or her accomplishments. It's near impossible to come across someone like her who isn't broken or tortured in some ways. Most times you either have to settle for mania or mediocrity
I recognized that she always stays calm and quiet even when there is a huge crowd around her. And always polite! What a self-discipline! I admire that!
the only other celebrity I can think of that gets this kind of attention just by walking the street is michael jackson...it's gotta be scary to be so famous
Actors are poor ! They can't live normality as we ! People eyes kills them personality .

Poor woman. You feel sorry for this woman. She seems so fragile and yet so tough. I hope she has finally found peace now.
