Pass indeed! extremely easy to use, awesome apps, although more expensive than iPod apps. Emails...awesome..watching YouTube on the couch...awesome...responding to this vid on you tube...way too easy. Wifi...drops out at times, and no it's not my Internet connection. Overall, I rarely use my pc anymore, I can sit in front of the tv and do everything I could do on the pc and more. Even more awesome for sitting on the crapper lol!

I think the ipad passes! Maybe not with flying brilliant colors, but enough to make me want to buy one! However, I will definitely wait for the 2nd generation, which I hope will come out around the same time it was released this year for 2011. I have a 17" HP Laptop and lugging it around is a hassle so the ipad would be ideal for school and lounging around. I love playing games and all the applications Apple offers similar to what my ipod touch offers. I think it really is up to personal circ

Fail, it doesn't do enough as a tablet PC, but it is priced like one. The only better feature is 3g, and you can get usb 3g at a fraction of the cost. AT&T overprices their 3g costs because of the subsidies they pay to apple, and a tablet PC can be generally around the size (maybe thicker) but does so much more.

I for one say pass, for in the future colleges may upload all of their text books to an app, thus leaving the expenses for college much much cheaper, and just requiring an ipad, prices on the iPad compared to what i costs buying books is phenomenally different.
