  • how do you have a girl between you?

  • The most devilishly pretentious music I've ever heard. I like it. :)

  • for some reason this song reminds me of the times when i was 16

  • @skylightrazors were you trying on different shades of lipstick and prancing around the neighborhood at 16? Because that is what this music is....

  • @Chrisander1606 actually i was. not trying to be sarcastic either. times have changed drastically

  • @Chrisander1606 your interpretation of this song might be off as well....

  • omg girls from hownslow....funny how no girl from hownslow have heard of wild beasts shame...

  • you're amazing! please come back to Mexico...;)

  • terrific

  • Just the best band - sooooooooooooo cool

  • saw them live last night and this song was amazing live!!! tom blew me a kiss :)

  • @JodieTotman Sorry to say,ut Tom is a real flirt and throws lots of girl's kissLOL!!!

  • @water4sure haha it was still amazing, and at least i'm one of them!! :)

  • this is so catchy.... I feel guilty....

  • i am in love.

  • Normality is lame

  • wow why have I just heard about wild beasts??? I thought today's music was gone to shit. Glad there are still bands like these guys

  • I love this song, but for some reason..It reminds me of runescape lmao.

  • @WalkingBoffemmyer You were probably playing runescape when you first heard this :P. Saw these guys in Oxford last night :P.

  • I love Wild Beasts and everyone one of their songs with all my heart, but this will always stand as my favourite song by them. It's so delightfully evil and Tom's voice goes so well along with the carrying drum beat.

  • pagan worship

  • Saw them at The Echo and was blown away. Simply amazing!

  • oh oh oh ohhohoh ohoho wacht me! watch me! uuffff.!

  • 43 people had to put Humpty together again...

  • @pedromonkey ha thats so funny, you attention seeking whore.

  • 'Girls of Hounslow...'

Having lived in Hounslow, that's scraping the barrel.

  • holy shizz. It feels like this came out 6 months ago not 2 freakin years!

  • Holy Shit!!

  • SHIPLEY! big up.

  • god damn this is so incredible and the only thing that im pissed about is that it took me this long to find them

  • mskyfrkul/olgui;/kguji;guyyf LOVE ITTTTTTTTTT

  • i think they should make an album with elbow it would be historic!

  • think i just jizzed:S

  • Que voz tan hermosa. Y que hermoso es él, no se por qué lo imaginaba gordito y barbón (lo cual me habría encantado más). Que buena canción.

  • So awesome are they like pagan druids? This kicks so much ass.

  • Awesome tune and jessie j aint that bad k

just more pop....ok she is lol :)

  • My ear vaginas are climaxing

  • How does this video NOT have over a million views? Not only is the song amazing, but the girls are beautiful and the cinematography is breathtaking! They're a wonderful band and should receive more credit!

  • Such a beautiful song :)

  • Thunbs up for thumbs!

  • Fucking rad

  • MORRISSEY REINCARNATED <3

  • 40 people need to stop listening to Jessie J

  • I don't expect the girls from Houndslow or Whitby look like the girls in this video though. Fucking love this song though, I find it quite humorous, it always used to cheer me up playing this album at work.

  • I love this song, but I don't want to listen to it, because I want to get back to listening to 'Hooting and Howling' on repeat.

  • GEEZ....you pommy bastards have some talented musicians. These Beasts are proof of that. *****

  • It's just f**kin brilliant really.

  • on repeat. all afternoon.

  • Why has it taken me sooo long to find these fellas

  • kings of leon tune sounds like this maybe kol are copy cats! you know the one I'm talking about. peace x

  • @saraj12 Pyr...

  • THIS IS THE GREATEST EUPHORIA IN SOUND,I HAVE HEARD SINCE ADAM AND THE ANTS AND HIS BLOOMIN BURUNDI DRUMS.

THE HIGH SOUL FALSETTO WITH THE DRUMS IS JUST TOTALLY UNIQUE.

MY GOD THE POWER OF MUSIC IS AWESOME!!!!!!

  • @rogerhoward555 u tryin to make a point, capman?xx

  • @cakemania321 My point is that this is a great sounding song.

In the 1980's ,when Adam and the AntS were around, they were totally unique in the Rhtym section they had with Burundi Drums, and All the Kings Men Brings all those BrillIant days back in how music fills your emotions when you hear it.

Also their element of English Folk song with Rock, is what makes the Wild Beast very unique.

  • I don't know why, but Hayden looks like he'd be REALLY good at blow jobs...

  • damn just checked these guys out, pretty damn good. :]

  • Lol at all you hipsters, this was aight, they tried a little tooo hard though...

  • @ChaosTitties I guess I should listen to you.. being the incredible music critic you are.

  • @mattserria117 Yes you should because what i say should be noted down and buried inside a gold time capsule that would be unburied and reburied every 100 hundred years to let other generations experience my heavenly wisdom

  • @ChaosTitties hahaha I love you

  • @ChaosTitties i wouldn't call this trying too hard.....i would say they're overly creative. which isn't a bad thing if you ask me.

  • @Boognish89 Nah they were trying too hard, forced almost.

  • @ChaosTitties that's your opinion, doesn't necessarily make it true, that's the beauty of music, everyone has different feelings with different music. so whatever man.

  • @ChaosTitties I disagree 100%

  • @missbraindamage you go girl

  • @ChaosTitties I had to compliment for your ego

  • @ChaosTitties

Nah, I think they got it just right. Maybe you're just used to musicians who aren't trying hard enough. Also, what the fuck is a hipster?

  • @ChaosTitties Hello, internet police? I believe these people are being trolled.

  • weird song

  • Alexis Petridis said this is a joyless album. Im convinced he was listening to something else cos this is fantastic. Like a summers day

  • luv dat music sooooo freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeckkkiiiiiinn muuuuuch

  • the drum beat is great

  • Gotta love the David Byrne/David Thomas psychosis of this guy's vocals.

  • women are princesses :)

  • its deffo about gettin loads of puun tang

  • So the songs about getting laid right?

  • @jugwinedrunk no its not

  • @mandamoo10 'girls astride me

girls beneath me'? c'mon man, that's about screwing

  • @jugwinedrunk No. The song is about women and men treating them well. Because as the song said, they take care of the mens and are a baby machine, so they deserve being treated with diamonds.

  • The world as a whole can boast some great stuff. America has some amazing bands, Modest Mouse, Clap Your Hands Say Yah, ect. Canada has amazing things, Wolf Parade, Arcade Fire. UK as we know puts out alot of awesome stuff. Swedens pretty good at getting some really groovy stuff out there, australia, Flight of the Conchords from new zealand :P Regina Spektors techinacly from Russia, Germany/Finnland have a great folk metal scene. The world as one is beautful musicly. Who cares about borders?

  • @bubbaisfat7 lmao "Germany have a great folk metal scene". only thing they have is death metal, symphonic metal, heavy metal. finland, sweden, russia, ireland, england, poland, even switzerland (eluveitie) has way more folk metal scene.

  • @bubbaisfat7 if yo've ever been to hounslow then you'll known how much borders matter

  • @bubbaisfat7 If you're gonna talk about Canadian bands you can't forget the best, Broken Social Scene. And if you don't already know of the Swedish band, The Radio Dept. you need to look them up.

  • that vocal base line is incredible :D

  • ok, this song is perfect. makes me happy

  • i personally think the best music is coming out of the u.k. but w/e this band is the shizzzz

  • @sueannwashere i agree and im from Canada

  • This guys are so sick. Sick as in ill. Ill as in the best.

  • All The Kings Men . . . Are Gonna Get Laid!

  • the vocal melody is so similar to the guitar line in the Beach Boy's "Help me Rhonda"

  • is it me or am i the only person that thinks this song can keep playing for another 15 minutes strong?

  • no joke this is the best music vid ive seen in ages. im feeling all pagan now...

  • Good music is good music. This side of the pond or across it dont matter...

  • No good music coming out of the US!? Are you people crazy? First of all, there's a reason why most American musicians are famous around the entire world. Second of all, there are just as many if not more small indy bands in the US, you people just haven't looked for them, that's all!

  • its harsh for me when my mates ask to listen to my ipod they all give me the same look (like ive just shit on my fingers and asked them to smell it) just because i listen to unique music not the mainstream garbage that anyone can make, keep it going. this music is amazing!

  • am i the only one that resents the term 'british'?

    does my fucking twat in

not surprised there's a race war goin on on this vid

what with the amount of cretins on the internet

  • @IAINoodle well said mate.

  • Oh just be honest!! Most of the mainstream taste are insufferably boooooooooring and duuuuuuuuul. That is life. Us adventurer types have to put up with it!!!!

  • absolute quality not heard an album as good as this for a long time

  • i love this song.. i just can't stop to listening it!! XD

  • To singabus66, just to let you know not all brits are biased, appologies for any previous british negative views on music from stateside, i love some off the stuff coming from your side of the atlantic. By the way you forgot to add the raconteers to your list

  • Cant believe i didint discover them sooner...from my neck of woods too...and lead singer is fit as........

  • @XKatiemiller Too right!!Critics like fashion!

  • This song would fit "where the wild things are" perfectly

  • i heard this on an irish radio station paul mcloone on today fm he always plays music of this type great show you should all check it out

  • Love their music videos

  • I'm sorry to say that girls from Hounslow are sadly unaware of how highly they are thought of (frankly, I dunno who they met, because I haven't met a single girl worth singing about!)

  • Mercury tonight, got to be!

  • WBs for the Mercury Music Prize tonight!!!!

  • @cheesypeas28

To be honest, they were simply the first mass appeal group from Britain to pop into my head. Generally I do think top 40 pop is better in the UK, but when comparing the whole spectrum, at the very least it's unfair to say that the UK beats out the US.

  • In fact, I would say that pop music's most adventurous groups ar coming out of New York these days rather than the UK. But musically, the US-UK music scene is a collaberation, not a competition. Its with this formula that we have dominated most pop music for over 50 years.

  • to the brit with the laundry list; great american indie in just the last ten years:

Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The White Stripes, TV on the Radio, LCD Soundsystem, Vampire Weekend, Yeasayer, Animal Collective, The Flaming Lips, Kings of Leon, The Strokes, et cetera, et cetera. And that's only in rock.

Focusing on the justin beibers of the music industry (canadian, btw) as representative of US music is like me saying british music is nothing more than Girls Aloud.

  • @Singabus66 as an englishman, gotta agree the U.S have had a lot of great bands recently :) personally couldn't care less where my music comes from...and on another note gotta admit girls aloud are actually a good pop band, not my cup of tea but I can't help bop at a few of their tunes......

  • @Singabus66 You forgot Interpol, but anyway, I'm with you on this one.

  • @frenchkids Yes, Interpol and Pinback!

  • 2.12 i love his expression!

  • wow... love everything about this... off to find more wild beasts :)

  • His facial hair annoys me.

  • Great Music.... think to answer a question below as to why they are not BIGGER .... the voice is a bit like Marmite. either you love it or hate it. i hate it., shame cos i really like the mood and the music. Welcome to the world of subjective tastes eh?

  • I really hope "Two Dancers" win the Mercury Prize award!!! They deserve it!!!!!! Such a fucking amazing album!

  • what a tune ...and what a good band verry simple but afective

  • This shit makes me happy!

  • the background singing makes me think of oopa lumpas

  • first time I heard this group

  • Does anyone know what tempo this song is?

  • @ajth789 Dude, straight-up 4/4...

  • @ClueSign Dude, thats the time signature. The tempo is how many beats per minute the song is?

  • just saw them at Lollapalooza!! Pure Genius!!

  • spine tingling live!

  • I love this song ! Gorgeous.

  • I love these! They're from where I live!!

  • Cut the Euro v.s. U.S.A. crap. Claiming superiority on either side degenerates the subject to over simplification.

They're some really good stuff coming from the states as well. What about jazz and blues guys? And in our time we see great stuff coming from the U.S. as well like Midlake and Yeasayer.

Oh and FYI I'm from the Netherlands.

  • @pontifex253 I cant get on board with that one, Im American and am striaght up embarrassed by our stuff when compared. We do have good bands around but noone cared about Brian JT Massacre, and Kings of Leon or the Strokes havent made a good album since 2000.. Bieber anyone? (had to)

  • @pontifex253 hey thanks for your comment..you introduced me to Midlake :D

  • @pontifex253 geweldig ik ook!
