  • soprano sharpe throughout

  • What wonderful harmonies!

However, I feel these actors were good enough that they did not need to use microphones - it would have sounded better without them. (For instance, listen to Richard King in HMS Pinafore.)

  • Great to hear this again - one of the first pieces I ever did in a choir. Memories of Walton-on-the Naze parish church and the elderly lady who dozed off in the front row while we were singing it.

  • Do I hear a harpsichord in this?

  • The sergeant Merryll somehow reminds me of Graham Chapman from Monty Python too bad he's dead and couldn't sing otherwise he'd be perfect for the role.

  • I CANT HELP LAUGHING AT 2:00

  • It looks like a lovely production. But how does Fairfax manage to still have a beard at this point? Just curious.

  • Have you ever tried to get thetenore to shave off his beard?!?! Believe me it is impossible in the extreame - he wouldn't even shave it off to be Hilarion! he he! But hey...............that's one of the reasons why we all love him so much! ;) x

  • I was in my school production of "Yeoman" in 1969 and this was my favorite song. Hearing this after all these years just went right through me and choked me up--Amazing!!!

  • Well sung!

  • Superb!
