@Oskeezynus All the words with 'da' at the end are dictionary forms of verbs. If you've taken Spanish in high school the 'da' is the same as 'ar' in Spanish. (If you've never taken Spanish, nevermind).

Try talk to me in Korean (ttmik.com) Level 1 Lesson 16 explains it exactly. This is also a good website to start learning Korean.

@CupcakeMamzelle I've noticed that too!... And mostly because I figured out that word on my own from watching Korean dramas. I was surprised to find that the spelling is with the B consonant and not the M consonant. It definitely always sounds like a "b" when other people pronounce it, too. Hope that helps.

Sort of an odd comment here-- as a girl, I find it difficult to try and pick up the accent when it's "Taekwon Do" speaking. Since I'm basically repeating what I'm hearing (and my voice is decidedly not that deep), I'm concerned that I'm not getting the accent right since I can't exactly imitate the funny voice. Maybe have a female character repeat it as well? It'd be appreciated!
