Wheels need to grow again! 60-65mm is perfect in my opinion. They probably got smaller again because in the mid-ninties everyone was riding rough city streets where everyone now is riding smooth skateparks.
those two 360's at city hall are better than any skateboard footage that has come out in the past couple yearsa, pros today wish they had style like this, dan wolfe definetly had a good eye for talent
i got this on vhs and was gonna up it last night. this is such a good part, so damn damn damn good. why didnt he have a part in ee3 anyways? always seemed weird
Matt is one of the greatest skaters ever. His skating really appealed to me because of it rawness; it seemed to be the antidote to all that horrible pressure flip, no pop, curb skating riff-raff of the early '90s. Big ups to Fredd Gall and the rest of the Eastern Exposure dudes as well. Thanks for posting this video.
Big wheels, raw style. I was so into the East Coast thing during this period. Power and style. I think the switch wallride is my favourite.

I remember buying this video way back when. At the time I thought Matt's part was sick and all, but damn.... looking back NOW. HE FUCKING KILLED IT

Matt's one of the greatest skateboarders of all time, no doubt about that one.

Anyone else notice that all the mid-90s Philly guys could push both ways?

@elm118 totally. switch mongo is wack anyways!

@EsoxCT
Proper switch pushing looks much better, but switch mongo is so easy to fall into when you get lazy.

Yeah, I remember buying this issue of 411 at the time, and being stoked on his part - thanks for uploading it!
