This Hang 'M High invention was pretty cool. This should make the hanging feeder the easiest and mist efficient way to feed game animals! Hogs and coons are hard on feeders where I'm from. This should solve about every problem I have and all the old problems the hanging feeders caused.
Nice setup, i have the exact thing goin on at my 5 acres. i put a feeder out to hold them on my land. its workin. i suggest you clear out a 10 foot radius around the feeder. so the corn will be spread out but still visible to the deer.
I'm not trying to be sarcastic or anything, but why would you want this? Is it just to attract wildlife the same way that suburbans bring in birds with bird feeders? Or is it just for the 2 or 3 kills you get a year? Because it seems to me that you could save money by going somewhere else to hunt.
@250jfp - I have a climbing stand but at this location I would probably simply sit on the ground about 50 yards away. With the wind in my favor and the cover I have to work with it is sufficient. Not even sure we will take deer off this feeder this year. It is honestly more of getting a head count on what is in the area.
@survivalpodcasting - I hear ya. Never a bad idea to know that. Would be a shame not to take at least one after all your effort though. Haha. Great show. Thanks for doing it
@71160jason - Sadly it probably is. Just about any feed corn probably is, any "pellet feed" probably is made with GMO corn. Any item you buy in a store with corn in it is probably got GMO corn in it. Same with soy, I am looking for a local supplier of feed corn that doesn't use GMO, like finding a diamond in a lost and found though.
Awesome. Thanks for posting. Great idea to assist with feeding during the winter. Its the hardest part of the year for our deer populations. Be safe out there and good luck this season.
how many lbs of corn dose that feeder hold.

@1956pastor... The Hang 'M High feeder hanger is great! That should make the hanging feeder the only way to go in feeding wildlife of anykind.

Hey Jack,

Corn feeders can keep deer out of your garden.
It seems that deer don't want to spend too much time in one area. If they
take up that time eating corn they may move on before going after you garden.
