"Takkan Melayu Hilang di Dunia!" - Malays will never vanish from the face of the earth!

  • The first one in this video is "Selamat Hari Raya" followed by "Suara Takbir" then "Suri Ram"... Sorry about the lack of song title. :)

  • Thanks very much for the info! "Suara Takbir", I've heard that song before. Wasn't that performed by Tan Seri P. Ramlee?

  • Nice Angklung playing! Was this done in MY or SG? Malay music is so similar to Philippine music; I guess because they both have the same ancestry ^_^ Do you have the titles for the Malay folk songs played?

  • Its not Phillippine music actually. Its Malay folk songs played on the Angklung.

  • Ooops...Cuz I searched Philippine music and this came up...

  • philippines and indonesia is pretty much in the malay world. philippines is part of the malay archipelago our people are very similar with indonesians and malaysians. if you think about it its pretty much like how khmer, thai, and lao are.

  • Wow...Philippine music is really beautiful...Its my second fav after Khmer in Southeast Asia...
