Because I live on what people in northern California call the North Coast, I reaffirm the right of any land bordered by a navigable body of still water to call it their coast, particularly if it comes complete with lighthouses and Coast Guard stations, as Ohio's does.

chicago is a few hundred miles away from canada ther are a bunch of citeys and towns on the way up from chicago and canada. i would recommend taking your brain back to where you got if from and ask for a refund if you think you can walk over hundreds of miles of land in one step to canada.

That sucks that people RSVP'd and didnt show. My neighbor had a christening for her newborn and like 60 people RSVP'd, she made a TON of food, got tons of decorations, and entertainment. 20 people showed up. She spent a lot of time and money putting it together and was very sad under 50% of the people expected showed up. I know how you guys feel. It's kind of a letdown, but at least you made the best of it and looked like you had some fun anyway.

The Great Lakes are the largest body of water at the upper most part of the USA ( the North ). As such, the area is affectionately called the North Coast by many. Yes.. the entire northern side of the state of ohio is on Lake Erie ( one of the great lakes ).

That looks like a great place to gather. You need more time to promote and do it before the other gatherings because everybody gets exhausted out from one gathering to another. If you do it yearly, they will come. I would have been there even if it's just you guys only being there... I would have loved all the attention!

Sorry Ash.. The upside is I have noticed that we don't go to just one event. Many go to multiple events. I know of some who have gone to almost all of them. There are also many who don't go because it isn't close enough for them and because of that too expensive.
