you dont buy a warrenty, when you but like an electronic device you usuallly get a 1 year warrenty with it which means if anything oges wrong with it within a year you can take it back and they will replace it or fix it, so the warrenty is basiclly the receipt

if you have the warrenty, and you jailbreak your iTouch, it overrides the warrenty, so basically the warrenty won't work if it breaks. But you can set the iTouch back to normal settings, and the warrenty will cover it again.

error 13...what happens is that I follow the tutorial exactly, and it fixes up the firmware for restoring or whatever, the one that takes a long time (the first thing it does). I can always do that one. but right after it finishes with that, it says that it is preparing my iPod for restoring, and it does that for maybe a minute, my iPod gets the apple icon it like it is about to restore, but then the little box pops up saying error 13 and everything stops

the untethered is out now but before I did the tethered manual with the command prompt and stuff and after a week of taking 20 minutes to boot i unjailbroke it but if I found this first I almost definatly would of kept jailbreak untill the untethered came out

plug your ipod touch into itunes and then restore it.

first click restore then when that fails shift restore to originalfw or if that is not there go into C:/users/yourusername/appdata/­roaming/applecomputer/itunes/i­podupdates. Appdata may be hidden so go to settings show hidden files and folders. basicly keep restoring and shift restoring untill it works. because of it's inability to boot up you may need to retry to maybe first take the firmware off your ipod then fix the bootrom then restore it

ya... thats an issue with the jailbreak. This jailbreak means its untethered. You need to download boot.bat file. You can find it on youtube or something. Then follow the directions on the BOOT.bat then it will boot successfully.
