@Snipeshot286 Read the video description. You need to purchase the Flying Knives ability (not just Throwing Knives). Also, you must NOT have the patch of 12/10/2009 installed.

@Ticker1288 You need to learn the Flying Knives ability at the Training Ring. This becomes available in Sequence 3, Memory 3. Therefore, Airwalk is only possible from S3M3 through the end of the game.

If you've already played beyond S3M3, that's not a problem. Just make sure you purchased the Flying Knives ability.

@dailystupidshit Yes. The main obstacle at this point would be uninstalling the patch from December 10, 2009.

@dailystupidshit From the PS3 menu go to Game > Game Data utility. Find the update and delete it. Be careful not to delete your savegame or else you'll have to start a new game!

There's a few things I would like to say. First of all, you could of air assassinated the guy if you pushed the attack button right after you selected the hidden blades. Secondly, about the place where you got to in the end, if you went to the gate of it you could fight the people guarding on the other side. That place is a good place to cheat your way into since it has enemies to fight, and I actually found a way to get there without doing the glitch in case it gets patched,

If you patched the game then you can delete the Xbox 360 catch(don't how to do it on PS3) by going to your HDD options and selecting "Delete Memory Catch". You gotta play the game offline though but since there's no multiplayer it's not huge loss.

Hmm. I don't think there's a way to skip the flying machine entrance during a playthrough. You'd have to find a way to land it safely somewhere (other than Palazzo Ducale) and then airwalk in to see if it triggers the assassination. Crash land the flying machine and it just restarts your flight.

It would be a neat trick if you could figure it out. XD

2 questions. Can you use the airwalk to reach unreachable places like south Florence or the island in south Venice? Is Palazzo Ducale open after you have completed the mission there, or you have to use this to get inside? Thanks!

1. No, you can't airwalk "off the map". The boundaries for desynchronization still apply up there.

2. Yes, you can enter Palazzo Ducale before or after Sequence 8 (when you fly in).

You can clear your cache at the dashboard if you have it on xbox. So you can play without any updates. You just can't play online.
