  • This guy is now dead lol

  • you live in San Antonio,TX your lucky i'm waiting for U-Verse to come to my city in Texas i'm getting envius of you for having U-Verse before me

  • i wonder what this guy got paid, to make AT$T look so edgy .......... fear the internet

  • This is a whole lot of shit i am an IT Engineer with a Masters from Sheffield.

I just changed from Comcast to ATT It fcukin rocks !!!!

It has an independent line unlike comcast i have my comcast runnin for the next week just incase i dint like ATT to play it safe its only been a day i know for sure im sayin goodbye to comcast!

  • .....oh, and by the way, the racial innuendo

at 2:16?? THAT would get your at+t tech FIRED!!!! (oh, but I guess that's o.k. when you're corporate.....)

  • Isn't this such a cutesy, wootsy pitch!!!

Hey boys and girls!!!!....I work for this company and have for the past 27 yrs!!.....wanna know what at+t pays these union paying workers for what you all are craving??? Would you also like to know what at+t made in revenue the past 12+ quarters?? OH!!! AND BOYS AND GIRLS!!??...THIS IS ONLY THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG!!!

  • ATT Uverse does not answer complaints. Installed on January 14th...it sucks. much worse than Dishnet. At least Dishnet answers their phone. After emails and phone calls, AT&T just ignores us. AT&T, the new AOL!

  • do they mail all that to your house or they come in and sit it up for you

  • They send a technician to do all the installation. They only mail if its something small like internet modems.

  • We actually had an update recently that corrected most of those problems.

  • AT&T owns Directv, Directv is a fallback service for those who can't get Uverse in their area yet.

  • At&T does not own Directv. DirecTV Group, is controlled by Liberty Media. At&T has a contract with Directv to provide tv service to their customers that don't have Uverse or will never get it. They also provide the same service for Verizon customers that don't have Fios, or will never get it.

  • I already have dish network with 150 hours of recording? how many hours can you record with u-verse?

  • 133

  • Yeah 3hours over in Houston i didn't get that guide. And i wouldn't go for the enchilada cause the enchilada freezes and takes many hours to make.

  • i sell that shit... 1-866-671-7993... hahaha

  • U-Verse is the best! It beats everything. Trust me you want it.

  • were gettin it on wednesday, what all does it have and do?

  • Comment removed

  • i meant to say, what does it have and what does it do lol

  • Well you get a lot channels depending on what package you get. You get fast internet again depending on which one you get. There's 4 different speeds plus you get phone too.

  • nd its all hooked up to the internet and they give u a backup battery so if the power goes out ur shows will still record, ur internet will still work for laptops, and ur phone service will still work

  • I just recently got it yesterday and I love it already!

  • somebody tell me how to fix mine...

  • this is spam. you have pasted this same comment all over. You know what, Verison is NOT all over. and at&t is not either. So who cares what one can do? You cant get either or, so thats stupid. And they are NOT bringing fiber to homes of ALL customers. The minority neighborhoods, who HAVE MONEY LIKE EVERYONE ELSE is not getting fiber by verison, that I can tell you.

  • When verizion finally rolls out FTTP it will smoke U-Verse. Im talkin internet speeds of 100 megs download and 20 megs upload. Imagine downloading a movie in 2 minutes instead of 45 minutes.

  • um verizon already has fttp have had it for at least 2 years now if not longer.

  • U-verse is a huge mistake by at&t. I see nothing different then HD cable, except a better guide and being able to record 4 shows at once. I have comcast cable&high speed internet. I get 10MB download and 1 MB upload. and premium HD and i pay 104.00 a month i can get more movies for 10.00 dollars more a month. I say AT&T should have stayed with FTTP/ fiber to the premsis.

  • ye but at&t has more hd channels and is cheaper free DVR and.... yea.

  • "owned by MTV BUT has great music, videos, etc" lol. thought that was pretty funny.

  • Sorry for the double post! :(

  • Comment part #2:

... interesting insider news on new movies and actors, list of ALL movies with each play time, etc. ... EVERY MONTH!

Since Premiere went digital there were also some bumps in the system developement, but in the end it was the best TV-experience I've ever had and that was 10 years ago!

I wonder, if AT&T will us provide with a more detailed TV Guide soon ... the 20 page magazine isn't really satisfying yet, but a good start ;)

  • Comment part #1:

We just got the U400 package of U-verse and are really overwhelmed by the choice of channels. The only thing what is missing now is a "detailed TV guide" to get a better overview!

I had the Premiere-TV-Service back in Germany and all Premiere-Subscribers (anyway what package) got a big complete detailed TV-Guide-Magazine with all channels, movie details, forecast for the next month, Q&A section, ...

  • I have it in California and its FAB-U-LOUS!!! 100% digital! If you want to see a glipmse into the future of entertainment, this is it! This number will get a rep to come to you, 951-743-4428.

  • Thus far they are limited to 2 HD streams per household. Very slow IPG (interactive program guide)and some install hick-ups. In time this will be a competitive TV product. Right now, they have many bugs to work out of the system.

  • Did you know AT&T U-verse is based on Microsoft technology? It's true. IPTV was created by Microsoft. I thought that was quite interesting. I think IPTV is TV of the future.

  • How does U-Verse get into your home? Via cable, phone line, or if it is internet, how does it get to your TV? Thanks.

  • U-verse gets into your home via copper phone lines. They install a box, connect your phone line to it, and then hook up your home's cable to the box.

  • in existing neighborhoods its fiber up to the B-Box or whatever its called and then copper to te houses. They do plan to replace the copper eventually but its a matter of money. In new homes and neighborhoods being built its fiber directly to the home.

  • It is coming in via twisted pair phone lines. It is IP, so it is a part of your broadband service. By the time you get 2 HD streams, your broadband use and a phone conversation, you've run out of bandwidth.

Certainly promising, but they seem to be having some major hiccups with a national programming outage a few weeks ago.

  • Great Product... I'm a contractor for AT&T

  • Good guide
