  • it handles really well is that stock?, because im thinking of getting 1/8th buggy wheels and an aluminium chassis and and the adaptors to accomodate the larger wheels.

  • why did you have novak stickers if u have a velineon systm?get some diffrential oil

  • To reduce weight go from plastic to aluminum

  • @DrSkippy112 ... aluminum weighs a shit ton more then plastic lol

  • Cool but your pinion gear is slipping

  • my birth day

  • looks like u need better tires

  • I swear I can hear teeth grinding the whole first 15 seconds of this...

  • My slash has dynamite fuze(3300kv), rpm arms, alluminum chassis, and 4s 2.8 amp china lipo with 11 t pinion. Wheelies all the time.

  • yeah they are slow i have a nitro slayer 3.3 that does 72 mph and all i did was a gear change and cut a small hole in the windshield of the truck for cooling so i could lean it out a little more .vs. my brushless slash that does 68 mph and it cost more to get my slash to do it having to replace the titan 12t motor with a mamba monster brushless set up and a 3s 30c 11.1 v lipo plus the charger to charge a lipo .. added cost to slash $378.86 and the slash is still just a 4x2 slayer 4x4

  • nitro's too loud for how slow they are.

  • what's the run time on one of these trucks..just want' to get an idea..because i'm going to be getting in to RC stuff soon..just want to know what to buy for my first car,,nitro or bat..

  • Nitro!... NitroNitroNitro! lol

might not be as fast but sounds louder

  • @schultzee101 not nitro

  • @schultzee101 nitro is for people that hate driving their RC trucks. there's maintenance to be done, a mess to clean up, glow plug heaters to charge, after run treatments to do, break ins, re sleeves or replacement of the motor after 300 hours, glow plugs to replace, tune chasing, if it suddenly starts raining or you want to run all day, you have to stop and tune for atmospheric conditions or suffer poorer performance. not to mention that BL tech makes nitro look like nitro made Brushed look.

  • @schultzee101 nitros are going 70+ (kmh) IF NO, u are idiot , what dont tune engine >.> :p

  • lectric, lectric, lectric fast and easier to maintain and your neighbors will not call the cops or hate you for the noise and stink!

  • @timidbuck ....no,no....

Charging of batteries eat many time and is killing moneys. (only dont be lazy :p ...

  • @Na8Dogg no dont get nitro

get electric nitros trash. if you want gas get a baja 5b

and you feel like a dick using a gas car cuz everyone around you is like wow this kids fucking anoying!!!! lol

get your batteries from all battery.com they have the cheapest and great quality too

  • @Na8Dogg no not nitro its to much work i have 2 slashes and 1 nitro i only race and run the slashes the most also go to a main hobbys thats where i got mine hope that help!!!!!!!!!:)

  • Cool! But i have one question. Why by the ESC and motor separatly?

  • had the whole set up, crashed it with out the body on "smart guy" and smashed the ESC, lol,

  • Unlucky!

  • hey, the calculated costs end up being $666. hehe

  • maybe thats why its always broke,

  • omg thats exactly how i wanted my slash!

  • My Slash with a Mamba Max brushless 5400, and a 3s Lipo can top at almost 90 mph. I can't keep it straight for anything! It cuts the tires all the time because they get so narrow. So, a buggy set may be better to help save me having to put on a new tire every time I drive it more than half throttle?

  • how much was the esc

  • $119.99 and for 35 bucks more you get the brushless motor

    Traxxas Part# TRA3355 esc only

  • OMG!! DUDE YOU boought the slash for 119.99???? where do you get these prices? please comment back soon!! love your videos.

  • HA! i wish, the slash i bought for 200$

    the ESC/ speedcontrol was 119$

Check the "More info" spot at the top right for more price info.

    thanx Java!!

  • what hbody is that?

  • Desert Rat, Proline

  • how do you like the prolines vs the normal stock tires? and are they worth the 80 bucks witht he bead locks?

  • the stock tires and the switch tires are even up, id say their not worth the money,

you want a drastic change to your slash? go out and get a full set of 17mm hubs and full set of 1/8 buggy tires, cause after all the slash is a 1/8th scale truck, and hey, its cheaper, i only recommend this if you running a brushless system,

    thanks goatboy!!

  • no thank you for the information im gonna get a brushless system soon so i might do that but will they still fit under the body without rubbing the paint off?

    thanks

  • yes the 8th scale buggy wheels fit perfect under the body, but it wont hurt to put a 3inch piece of ducktape under your wheel wells,

trust me, iv spent over 900$ on my slash. and this upgrade is the best yet,

    ill send you a vid.

    thanx

  • nice takeoff
