I haven't heard much about Duff. I am reading Anna and the french kiss and I have perfect chemistry in my books to read- maybe a few weeks till I read them because people keep comparing it to Anna and the french kiss and vise versa and I wanna read it between a few books.

But evry1 of my friends say the movie is amazing!! but idk never rlly got into wanting to watch the movie like i did when i read A Walk To Remember i rushed into the movie lol! its still one of my favortie books and book to movie movies

I certainly agree with you about needing some supporting characters to do the shouting/calling out/ challenging the lead characters on your behalf; it's fanbloodytastic when those sorts of moments occur.

I just ordered Anna and the french kiss a couple of days ago. Never thought I would like it, because i'm kinda scared of the chick-lit books too. lol. But when you said you liked it that much i just had to get it!
