  • lol sonar went US - had they not said inserviceable, I would've continued wondering if there's something about US quality to lead to such an association

  • can you eat it it?

  • oh that would stink!!!!!!

  • shows like this and ( in search of ) even (sightings and unsolved mysteries) are a thing of the past ,thats why youtube is so great it keeps shows like this alive.

  • What happen if we go find it and get it

  • The Dare Island Enigma is a novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach video book trailer

  • Im so tired of the crap we are given ,even on the discovery channel. all cheap entertainment, mindless garbage. Even a old show like this is so much better.

  • WE have lots to learn about the unseen world in the oceans and alleged mythology.

  • peter benchley said that giant squid grow to over two hundred feet long.

  • I don't get it. I rented this series years ago from a video store and I'm pretty sure the Sea Monster video contained a part on a giant octopus (about 200 feet in diameter if its legs were spread out) that washed up on shore, which included a couple of photos. Where did that part go?

  • @Elhardt The St Augastine giant octopus! I did't see it either!!

  • @Elhardt,

That St Augustine Octopus is most likely real. Two experts spoke about that on a Monsterquest episode. The first guy claimed it was whale blubber, the second guy showed that it was not

  • Thanks for bringing back a classic series! *(^_^)*

  • gay squid!!!hahaha raping men!!!

  • How do they know it is a small female when they don't have anything to compare too?

  • wao the squid is so brave can he attack a nuclear submarine?

  • 3:22

  • Giant squid are racists.

  • Makes you wonder doesnt it?

  • sure does .. our world is full of so many mysteries

  • I paid a debt witha giant squid once. It was a massive creature but very ill. I gave it to my mate and said, "Here's that sick squid I owe you."

  • I said my mate van Gogh, 'Do you want a sick squid?' He said, 'No thanks, I've got one ear'.

  • Ha Haaaaaa! Love it.

  • a squid attacks a battleship that size??

  • Sounds like my Step-Mother !!

  • sounds like an ex girlfriend i used to have, she'd try and get her claws into anything

  • LOL!

  • Oh, you've been out with her too!

  • It's a colossal squid, with the characteristic "tooth" in the middle of each sucker. Pretty nasty!

  • cookie cutter sharks..

  • im prod to be a sri lankan nice video

  • hmm,ok then. were all very happy for you and equally proud of our cuntries. cant quite see whats that got to do with this video though!

  • Arthur C Clarke had Sri lankan citizenship, thats what Wishwacom's comment has to do with this video.

  • lol cuntries

  • Dude that theme music just makes wonder what the hell is out there.

  • Oh hell yeah. I used to watch this when i was little. Man i loved it.

  • Me too! Good times.

  • this is why i don't get in the ocean. to much wierd shit.

  • LOLZ!

  • For real men too much weird schmonocks,in those waters.

  • Good work on getting this up. I've been wanting to catch this cracking series again for years. There's plenty of shows on the unexplained nowadays but Clarke's scientific credentials make this particularly respectable.

  • saw a national geographic special last nite about giant squids in a bay in cabo san lucas..these squid were very aggressive, and would attack divers and camera men

  • just think even if one of the creatures are real that would be awesome

  • Good, in this video, the whole opening theme is included. I really like that piece of music.

  • the guy who dubs annoys me xD

  • they do have claws retard!!!!!

  • Man this show was so awesome; and scared me a lot sometimes too! RIP Arthur C Clarke!

  • Squids have teeth on there suckers. and a beak in there mouth.

  • yes they do. retard.

  • I really enjoyed watching this series. Thanks for the postings!

  • thar be beasties in the briny deep with big shiny eyes and greedy mouths ready to munch on you!

  • always my favourite tv shows when i was a kid...

  • I remember watching this show as a kid. ^^

  • i loved watching this series

  • Awesome series!

  • Thank you for uploading this.

I grew up rereading C.Clark's Mysterious World book and until recently I had no idea that there was a documentary series.

  • soch a great show!

  • as recently as 1976? jesus christ this is old!

  • Old it is, yet still a fascinating and intriguing series.

Too bad that most of today's shows can't be as interesting as "Mysterious World".

  • The idiots who create shows these days are more interested in trying to disprove everything rather than investigate the truth.

  • @truefaith00 In fact today's shows like "mosterquest" or "UFO hunters", are crap.

There's nothing like classic shows like this one, unsolved mysteries, etc...

  • @SergioWW1WW2 I miss Unsolved Mysteries =[

  • @MissStephie1013 ME TOO :( miss so much the old stuff where the investigators were for real and not a bounch of kids with cams...

    Cheers!

  • @SergioWW1WW2 Yeah, exactly! Was pretty simple and good to watch! Unlike nowadays where everything's liek a mini hollywood movie =/

  • @MissStephie1013 Yeah! and you realize that all you're watching is fake! Thanks God there're still some people around that likes the old stuff. :)

  • @SergioWW1WW2 That's why i don't watch much tV anymore, it's just full of rubbish, mindnumbing crap that isn't as interesting as stuff like this!

  • @MissStephie1013 Well said! \m/

  • @SergioWW1WW2 Why, Thank You Very Much [=
