Some artists will do a re-release on their own, but often it's not the original recording. Twila's original album was "Keeping My Eyes On You"; you might try e-bay, or a local record store that specializes in older releases. I've been trying to find a CD edition of that album for years. One of Jesus' main points (eg: Matt 5,6,7) is that God's standard is perfection--and since we can't possibly follow God's rules perfectly (or even close), that is why we needed a savior at all. And not just once, when we "get saved", but as an on-going thing. We do need to face up to that as followers of Jesus, otherwise we will not come freely to the cross constantly, which is the Father's invitation to us.

Well done--i am speaking of the video. The song inspires me, because I am a Christian. If I was not, I hope that it would inspire me to become one. To ask Jesus, to be my Lord, and to rule in my life, to help me with my heart, to subdue those things in my life that are ugly and sinful, so that the life that he gives will reign in my life. Number one, pray that he changes what your heart desires and ask for forgiveness for all of your sins. His blood can handle it. It was not shed in vain.

Nogoma, if you read the verses before Luke 6:30 it talks about loving people that have done wrong to you.
And one more thing, if christianity is something that you belive is wrong, that is ok and I am praying for you. I have evidence. My evidence is that with a Christian worldvue I can explain why the world is how it is (God says so). It makes sense. If what u believe is correct then the world would operate that way. If u r incorrect, u wouldn't be able to explain it. One aspect of faith is knowing (with ur mind) that something not physical exists. If u think that something has to by physical to exist, u have a lot of explaining. Lots of things in the world are real but not physical. Faith is logical.

The nature of the language is habitual not absolute. But let's back up. Nobody can keep all Jesus' commandments. That's why we need a savior. If we could do it then Jesus' sacrifice is unnecessary. It's because we can't that He did. The result for those who believe is that they will pursue a life of habitual obedience to the commandments of Christ, including feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, praying for enemies, etc. Where we fail, we are forgiven. Yes, these are principles that Christ has given us to live by. We are to strive to, knowing all the while that only by His grace and the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives that we can obey at all, for we are all at enmity with our Creator unless reconciled. And forgiveness only comes through faith in Jesus' work on the cross. If we could obey perfectly then the cross would be senseless.
None who are His will turn their backs on Him.
