Aactually, my friend thought I was listening to black metal because I was playing Saetia and Orchid. I can see why someone might think they sound similar. The vocals are both high pitched screams. And screamo is hadrcore, while Black Metal has a lot of hardcore influence, so I suppose there are some similarities.
