  • メロディーが無いところをやけにとばし過ぎな気が・・・・

  • @dohyunkwon I watched your performance. It was amazing :)

  • @dohyunkwon so?

  • very very

     beautifull

  • @rachmanipablo Thank you!

  • even with some mistakes it was still amaaazing!

it is such an incredibly difficult piece to play.

i want to learn how to play it someday...

  • I think that's one of the easyest study of Liszt. If you can play a study of czerny you can play that piece so...

  • @lio689 Yeah, I think so, I retired piano lesson before starting czerny..

  • @twazn Thanks, I hope I can play this more precisely next time.

  • Amazing! Check out my rendition of a Tribute to Un Sosipiro on Organ!

  • @titanicpiano14 I also watched yours, that was very interesting!

  • amazing sound quality

  • @ManicMilliee Thanks :)

  • too many wrong notes

  • @justinneversleep Yeah, I agree with you ;-)

  • increible no tengo mas palabras

  • @rachmanipablo Thanks, what does "no tengo mas palabras" mean?

  • wow not chopin. its franz liszt the hungarian

  • maybe u should read what she was typing before you judge so quickly

  • Chopin*

  • WOW! YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!

haha i couldn't play this in my dreams! hahaha

Im still working on Petit Chien by Choppin

haha and i bet thats like the ABC's for you!

  • @shannonmariemcmillan Thanks, I haven't played the Petit Chien yet. I think it's also difficult for me to play it like a puppy running around me. Looking forward to seeing your performance :)

  • When you say it took you half a year, how long were you practicing it each day for? Beautiful performance by the way. That piece of music is just gorgeous beyond belief.

  • @jconway1 Thanks. I practiced for half an hour a day, I think.

  • I'm actually trying to learn this song i try to listen to professionals so i get what the song should sound like.

  • @unclejoey32 I arranged some notes on this perfoemance as well as fingerings for me to play easier...it's nice for you to listen professionals, not mine ;-)

  • i think the chair is adjusted in its lowest position, which should make playing more difficult. well-executed nontheless. look up to Van Cliburn's recording for a fine performance.

  • @libetta Yes, as I commented previously, I set the chair height to incorret position. This was one of mistake on this performance :(

  • It took me about half an year to play whole piece.

  • Yes, I innovated new fingering on the 22 to 23 blocks as you seen. But I don't know how I tell you this!! Sorry!

  • I think the secret to playing this piece well, besides the obvious technique and tone is to make it sound EASY. Some pieces can seem difficult and come out alright. Not this one.

  • I agree with you. From the audience viewpoint, they fell comfortable if the performer looks playing easy even if the piece looks difficult when the performer plays this tender type of music.

  • If you continue to study very slowly, someday you will be a player of this tune. I think this is basic and primitive but very important way to develop your performance of instruments.

  • 5 stars!! Bravo!!!

  • Thanks for your voting!

  • umm. I actually don't think this performance is that good. The performer is rushing too much. The melody is not shaped well enough, melody doesn't 'sing' out. I say that the performer maybe too nervous...

  • Thank you for your advice. I had not studied enough until this performance. Actually I was nervous as you say because I don't have many chances to play at stages for audience very much.

  • we're studying liszt right now and i was looking up people on youtube who did this song and you by far have done the best job :)

  • I like March-Endre Hamelin's version the best... but this one excellent as well. this is just such a beautiful piece

  • Thank you for you kind comment on my performance. Yes, I know Hamlin's version where the last part of this piece seems different from well-known version.

  • Thank you for your kind comment. I am grad to see it. As you say, we can watch many interpretations of this tune on YouTube. I also look at them and I study from them.

  • Nice!

  • Thanks!

  • REALLY GOOD!

  • Thanks!

  • is the soft pedal used for most of the song?

  • Yes.

  • hi....is this your performance?WEll, is a heartful performance...this is one of my favourite piece...

  • Thanks for your listening. This is my favorite tune, too. I'm glad to perform this for audience.

  • yes, that's fine if you want to interpret it that way. but overall, fantastic and musical performance. please make new videos!

  • very well performed. You should think of relaxing dont be so tensed, down with the shoulders :P. Anyway very good technic

    too little musical though.

  • At this time I wrongly set height of the chair to the lowest position. So it seems my shoulders and arms are tensed a little...

  • beautiful

  • Thanks!

  • good technique, but it's way too fast in general, particularly at around 0:45 - 1:00. THEY ARE TRIPLETS,which means that each rest gets a third. you played them like sixteenths

  • Thanks for your finding, but I like to play this part like ornaments rather than triplets.

  • bravo! vraiment magnifique interprétation, et tres beau rubato...

  • Merci beaucoup!

Rubato was difficult, so I listened to some CD's professionals played during my practice many times.

  • very nice!!!

    cant say something else...

  • Thanks for your listening and comment :)

Any day I hope to play this better.

  • Hey great job! Do you mind if I ask what kind/size of piano that is?

  • This was YAMAHA CF3S. Depth is 275cm long.

  • Very beautiful interpretation^^!!!!

  • Thanks :-)

I like to listen to and play this tune.

  • That was an amazing performance. Bravo!!!!!

  • Thanks. At this time the piano condition and acoustics of this hall were very well for me to play.

  • I'm planning top learn it soon, who could tell me what are the main difficulties in this piece ?

  • It's hard to get the right sounds if your fingers aren't nice and loose - even if the room's too cold, that much more stiffness in your knuckles can cause trouble. Another problem I had (just to clarify, I'm not the one in the video, but since you asked...) was with key accuracy at the section about 1:15 or so, in - you may want to practice that a bit, as it requires a lot of jumps, some more blind than others. That being said, it's a perfectly lovely piece that I'm sure you'll enjoy. =)

  • Thanks RobinHood3000. If you need help, I'll help you as much as I can.
