I suggest mastering drawing on paper first. The tablet is a bit tricky but if you get really good at drawing on paper, it will show when you get a tablet!

Set it up to your preferences.

If you know what you're doing you can kick ass in paint.Well,not exactly.But SAI has best blending I've tried and is fast as hell.

hey man do artist like have a third eye that they can see beyond normal vision. Im not gifted like them and find it rather hard to draw. Is it something that can be taught or must it be a natural ability and then mastered through continuous development?

You could say so. After a while it's just the process of trial and error and finding things that make your art just stand out. But also keep in mind that things such as lighting and shading are a LOT tougher with just a normal pencil.
