I too have Fibromyalgia and when I found this posted on a page a friend had listed, I posted it to my Fibromyalgia group and on my FB Wall. I have gotten a lot of "Thank you's" , "Likes" and "Comments" about the video. It is an awesome video, and it does explain a lot to others who do not have fibro what it is about and how it affects us who do have it. I did cry throughout the video, that's how "awesome" it was for me because that is what we go through and hopefully others can understand that.
(cont'd) Pretty much want to say is don't give into this illness. Do what you like, it is possible. This is just a road bump slowing us down. We can do things slowly and surely :) I have found hatha yoga, tai chi, magnesium malate capsules, and gentle massages helpful. Even gentle walks help. I hope this helps you too. In the meantime as a Holistic Health major will continue the search and share what is helpful. Stay positive, that helps too :)
Hi people with Fibromyalgia, just wanted to say that I also have it. And hate it!!!!! But it doesn't stop me from doing most of the stuff i like. I hike, i ride my mountain bike, i belly dance, i go to school part time (study Holistic Health), and work part time as a Story Editor and DA. My hands are full. But every single day I am in pain. By the end of the day all I can do is cry from the pain and the strength I get to do all this. Or cry when I can't sleep at night.
mom talks about this/has this and I keep telling myself I don't/won't.
it's gone from a loose collection of symptoms in the early 1990s to a full-blown movement now. someday maybe we'll understand better than we do. I hope.
I hope you are having a better day. I also have fibromyalgia and started a non-profit to provide an online support link for people. Feel free to check it out and join in on conversation. Happy Thanksgiving!
