  • Good review!! I have the full setup with heat shield, never fired and am looking for the box magazine that fits in to the reciever on the bottom of the gun. Do you know where I can purchase one or two? thanks for your time, Jeff

  • ??? Huh

  • why does this sound so funny?

  • nice review

  • Yeah it's NY legal 10 rounds is Max legal limit on long guns. And as long as u have the 18.5" slug barrel it's legal due to the fact that its a manual feed and it keeps the gun over 26" in total length. I wish I could find a sidewinder kit I would buy it in a heartbeat.

  • Great review! Any chance you could do a quick comparison of the saiga mags with the sidewinder ones? I'm getting a sidewinder kit on Friday and am wondering how much work it would take to adapt saiga stick or drum mags to work with it. I know I'd have to make a collar with the whole top section, but I don't know if they're close enough in size to make this even feasible.

  • @TelekineticFool - I only have the drum mag, and the MD12 is nothing like the Side Winder drum

  • can you demo how to load the shotgun, i think something is wrong with my drum

  • yea i dont see why not, ill try it out and let you know how it comes out. safe shootn

  • yea your right.... well i jus got 1 with it already on, i just dont want to get busted at a range lol... and can i add a heat shield with the conversion?

  • @freestylesukka - I don't really know if the heat shield will fit or not.. I would think it would (or could be made to work). I like the heat shields, and the models I used in the Military had the heat shields, but for some reason I never thought of adding one to my Mossy

  • loveee this set up, do you know if its illegal in ny? because i actually can get my hands on one... also i was looking @ the package and am curious to what the shell looking thing is for...

  • @freestylesukka - is anything legal in NY???? ;o) They no longer make this setup, so it's very hard to find

  • @freestylesukka Legal in NY? HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • I have one , there is a reason no longer made... looks cool tho

  • How hard is it to swap out the original mag tube?

  • @DESERTHAWKIN - you just remove the old one, use a tool that was included with the kit to ream out a slightly larger hole (by hand) and install the new tube. it only took a few minutes to install

  • Great Info !

  • I would really like that set up for my 870.

  • Wow! Talk about instant gratification. Great video!

  • Weaponeer, is there anything available that is similar/identical to the Sidewinder kit for the Moss 500?

  • @lookingupforjesus - not anymore, but I'm thinking of marking a product for it.

  • What happened to your fingers? Great review you are doing a great job.

  • @Kingjeffkoch - truamatic amputation of 4 fingers 4 years ago. was checking the trans fluid on my truck in the early morning and dew was on the grass. I leaned over to reach the dipstick and my feet slipped on the dew. I fell forward to brace myself, and the right hand caught the fender, but the left hand hit a bracket with my little finger going into the fan belt (one of the wide ones with the ribs) and it pulled my hand into the pulley and out like hamburger. drove to the ER for surgery

  • @weaponeer Ahh that sounds horrible. But fortunately you still can use your hand. Greetings from Germany.

  • that side winder set up would be pretty sweet paired with a 12" barrel.

or a semi auto like an 1100. i wonder if that's even possible

  • That's really cool. I've never seen that before.

  • -- Very nice setup sir!

  • Nice!! It's a pity they don't make them anymore.

  • thats cool
