  • Hey Mainely, excellent video, loved it! I want to get your quick opinion, I've got the volt selaed auto and have had issues with overfilling my carto and ruining the battery. Is is really possible to drip on these, refill on these or do you think its basically a losing proposition?

  • @SuperMoses79 the sealed Volt should protect against over dripping somewhat but... As far as dripping goes I think you're bound to have a leak at some point. You could def refill cartos and reuse them. just be careful not to overfill them and you'll be fine. If you really want something smaller to drip with pick up and Ego and a Dripshield. Good bat life in a smaller package and with the dripshield you'll never have a leak.

  • @SuperMoses79 Oh... call me slip ;)

  • Good god those drags are juicy !

  • Awesome review! I bought a Bloog (same as the Volt) for my wife when we first decided to try vaping. She didn't like it. I used it and it was "okay" at the time but I really think I should have started with 24mg liquids. I had ordered 18mg and found it less than satisfying, but neither was the SB. After three weeks I was finally used to 18mg & vaping w/o any cigs... Once used to that the Bloog was great and very convenient too. The point: Pack a day noobs should consider 24mg w/the Volt.

  • @BeerIndependence4All Thanks! Good to hear you're off the analogues! Also, thanks for the comment. I started on 24mg myself. ;)

  • A 510 auto battery with a 510-T atty and tank work extremely well. Just as much vapor as dripped eGo and the 510 tank system doesn't leak (won't kill the batt) like some cartos will. The only drawback is that the flavor doesn't come though quite as well as dripping.

Love the reviews, by the way! Thank you!

  • I just got my volt kit. Just have one flavor (RY4). I like it. I am new to vaping. I used to smoke Newport cigarettes. I want a good menthol vape. Any recommendations?

  • @ApologeticoPR Right on! Goods menthols.. Hrm. Check out Triple Rainbow and Adam's Apple from Vapocaststore. Also, anything from Rawrvapor. Just add menthol to the Rawr juices. Lemme know of you ever have questions!

  • Thanks for all the information!

  • @DragonDBlaze Np at all. Thanks for watching!

  • Hey man,

I've been using the eGo and I am looking to upgrade. When I vape, I like a good, strong hit in my chest, with the flavor being menthol (or peppermint). I think that is more along the lines of "Vapor production". I have been researching like mad. But I have numerous advertisements saying "The best". What is your recommendation as far as achieving my style of vaping?

  • @DragonDBlaze Have you tried low resistance (LR) atomizers yet?

  • @MainelyVapor

I have yet to do that, but I don't know if I should stick with the eGo, or would it be a better idea to have the eGo T? I would try the LR Cartz, but where I order from they are non-existent. I can look again but no guarantee I will find them.

  • @DragonDBlaze I'd try LRs on your ego first. You might be able to get the hit you're looking for for the price of just an atomizer. I reviewed the ego-t and don't recommend then. Check out the review. Look at Kalamazoovapor or Vaporcaststore fire atties and cartos. They have good prices although I get my atties from Avidvapor. Little more expensive but they're a hot hit.

  • @MainelyVapor

So the 510 XL LR cartz will work with my eGo? (Kinda a dumb question to ask but I have ordered 510's and them not work.)

  • @MainelyVapor

Also: which eGo would you recommend? I currently have a low brand eGo, but I mean, is there any difference in Joy, Volcano, ect...

  • @DragonDBlaze Am ego's and ego. There are different battery sizes and some are a little older. The newer ego's have a shut off function (by pressing the button 5 times) but they're all made in china regardless of what retailer in the states is selling them. I wouldn't use a dual coil atty or carto on the ego. Sometimes the XL mean dual coil.

  • @DragonDBlaze To start I'd just look for a regular LR atty or cart (i recommend atties, smoother hit with more flavor but the carto might offer more throat hit) and see how you like it. Not much money to see if you're into LR and I'm betting you are.

  • how long does the smoke last around in a small non vented room. I live in a dorm on 5th floor, and its tiring to walk down all those stairs too smoke. So I want to get this Volt vape so i smoke in my dorm room. My only main concern is that the amount of vape smoke will set of the smoke alarm, must like a steamy shower would. Also dont want to smoke out my roommate, Do you have any experience with smoking in a small room, with a smoke alarm

  • @AnonBuddha Vapor doesn't linger in quite the same way that smoke does. It will set off a smoke alarm if you vape enough. It's tough to answer type question really. You could definitely vape in a smaller space and not bother others or set off a smoke alarm. But vape enough and you might.

  • i am a newbie and blew 2 autos :( going manual for now lol

  • @HanzoTh3Razor Tons of ppl choose autos. They seem like a good idea but... lol. Well, you know! ;) Thanks for watching!

  • I thought I saw somewhere that there r sealed batteries now for the volt. I want one for going out, I still get a ton of( looks) when I go out w/ my ego especially when I pick my kids up at school, lmao! I want to chase people down screaming " It's not a crack pipe It's a e cig!!!!!!!!!!" Haha oh well still better than smoking real ciggs!!!!!!

  • @TheNicnac1971 There are Volt manual bats now. Also, LOL!

  • Whodoo voodoo we do! Cant wait to get my volt in the mail

  • @markylaw Right on!

  • does it get you high?

  • @CraigRidley1 No. It's for quitting smoking.

  • @MainelyVapor ive ordered one will be nice to not stink of cigs and be able to smoke at work again. do you still miss cigs when you switch or is it easy?

  • @CraigRidley1 It was pretty easy for me. Let me know if you have questions!

  • @MainelyVapor ive just got it today and its pretty good, the flavours are not very strong i was woundering if you had tried the menthol ones, and if so are they like mentol cigarettes or is it just a minty taste.

  • @CraigRidley1 I haven't tried the menthol. I'm sure be kinda like a menthol smoke. Nothing I've tried really tested exactly like a smoke.

  • heya slip i know you started with blu awhile ago but would you happen to remember their tobacco flavor? if you do did any of smokeless images flavors taste similar?

  • @DizzeiKing I don't remember blu's tobacco. ;( I do remember Blu's cherry. Wadn't bad but... trust the thumbs up/down on these. Lol

  • Thanks Slip

  • @QCAssociates Thanks for watching dude!

  • I dunno IMO i think the volt with some flux-o-mizers will beat ego hands down.

  • Smokeless Image now has New Pccs that will accommodate the 78mm Volt batteries.

They also have Manula volt batteries!

  • @VaticVapor Right on. Thanks for the heads up!

  • @MainelyVapor

Check out my review of the 78mm manual and new pcc.

  • what's your xbox tag?

  • @InkedCanadianGuy sl1pg8r

  • enjoyed it ... as always. however, production-wise, too bad the last flavor (cherry) review with the big visual thumbs down was right before you wrote "thanks nilius!" - but then it's so friggin easy for me to be a critic from my itty bitty spot in the world :-)

regarding starter ecigs - i keep a e-power on hand for any possible newbies - strictly due to the lesser cost of replacement batteries.

but so many want it to feel more like a cig - so this looks like a great one for that.

  • @junquedujour Agreed! It's a gooood starter for sure.

  • They updated the PCC (only last week I think) to take the larger batteries as well as the small ones. It looks exactly the same, just the insides are a bit different to accommodate both types.

  • @colormonochrome Nice! Good idea for them and thanks for the info!

  • You and I were pretty similar on the carto flavors, except my favorite is Desert Joe and you gave it a thumbs-down, waaaaat? Oh well, luv ya anyway, lol. I recommend the Volt over an Ego to beginners because my goal is getting as many people off cigarettes as possible as quickly as possible - no learning curve, no studying a ton of stuff about which atty, which juice, trying to perfect dripping, going through tons of money and boxes of tissues, etc. Just screw two things together and vape.

  • @steeljan Lol @ the Desert Joe ;) The trouble i have with recommending KR-808's is that I think the ego delivers such a better experience. I've seen a few people get smaller kits and then go back to smoking. It's a tough call. The ease of the KR808 or the experience of something a little bigger. IMHO

  • @MainelyVapor Oh, I don't think the Ego delivers a better experience than the Volt at all!! Just the opposite. Come on Slip, think back to being a total newbie with an Ego kit -- you've got two standard atties filled with nasty primer that you're going to vape not knowing any better, 5 prefilled cartridges that are going to taste like dirty socks, wick poorly and then burn, and etc. I totally agree with you that it used to be better than any cig-sized kit, but with the Volt, not anymore.

  • @steeljan Learning curve definitely goes to the Volt. I just can't vape it all day. It's 90% there but just doesn't quite do it for me. Also, stop yelling at me... *whimpers*. I'm just the littlest bit scared something involving a chainsaw might befall me!

  • @MainelyVapor Vrrrrm-vrrrrrm! :-)

  • I've been going unflavored lately, it seems to keep the coil cleaner much longer. I just havn't found anything that works as well as the CE2s, and I really like being able to see how much juice is left in the clearos, and being able to fill to full capacity without flooding it. I think if they made it out of some kind of durable clear material it would be perfect.

  • @jpoolerdom well dude, totally glad you found a vape you like. That's rad.

  • 2.8 - 3.0 ohm clearos - have tried regular 510 attys and don't get good taste/too hot/seems to crud up the coil quicker. same with lower resistance clearos/e2s. I usually run 80/20 PG/VG. would more VG help?

  • @jpoolerdom I don't think changing your ratios will change that. Honestly low vg liquids should clog your atty less but it also depends on what flavorings are being used. I don't specifically know any flavor that clogs an atty cept boba's bounty.

  • ha ha, the hood up was spot on

  • @GrimmGreen ty slugger! ;) also, ily

  • Keep up the good work buddy, you make this Mainer proud.

P.S., am I the only one that doesn't like LR on the eGo?

  • @jpoolerdom thanks dude! But... What do you like on the ego?
