  • very nice english und österreichischer akzent!

  • wow, your english language accent is perfect.. btw love your videos... curse you german r forever :(

  • I fucking love the way you say 'So'! I much prefer Austrian accents over the German ones. I think they sound sexier. :) Thanks for the lesson.

  • GERMANS CAN'T UNDERSTAND AUSTRIANS! xD

    austria

    der zug..

    german

    die zug!..

  • so awesome! I am living in salzburg and that's so funny thinking about my own dialect.

Just three things which are hardly used but very funny:

If a corner in your room isn't rectangular and smaller than 90°, we call it "Spiaßeggat"

Or sometimes we call an orange "Pummarantschn"

The last thing - if a record, for example, is bumpy, one might say it's "weagat"

    anyway, really awesome video! ^^

  • @ShadowNato1

hehe ja ich weiss was Rotz is.

  • At first I thought you had some type of Irish/British accent.

  • please, give some words which are most often used in Graz... some specific ones.. :)

  • I love Austrian German. It's SO beauitful! I learned German from Germany, so I have a difficult time trying to speak like an Austrian. If I could have, I would have learned Austrian German from the start to have that accent. :)

  • I love your acceeeent!!

    Flo

  • Your English sounds good!

  • I want to learn Austrian German not Standard German anyway...

  • @thatslavicguy

All German speaking nations, even the Swiss + Bavarians, nobody understands, use High German ortography though. So you'd better start with High German

  • I took a German 101 course and I remember this example my teacher taught us about 'bekommen' in the context of "false friends": words that sound familiar but have different meanings. For what it's worth, she was originally from Stuttgart. Anyways:

A German tourist travels to Texas and decides to have dinner at a steakhouse. He places his order and waits. 20 minutes becomes 30 becomes 50. Impatient, he asks: "Waiter, When will I become my steak!?"

  • i must say very very good

    Greetz from Germany

  • first of all....You're awesome.

I'd love to talk with you thru skype so you can teach me how to pronounce the Freakin' German R.

in exchange, i can teach you the most absolutely hip and cool spanish and portuguese phrases!

Now that is a good deal or what?!?!?!

    please say yes.

    BYE

  • I definitely have to admit that your english is good aswell as your german.

  • ahahaha you speak more austrian than german

austrian accent doesn't sound very "nice".. but you speak like a real austrian ;D

  • u sound british

  • most german native speakers learn british english in school

  • interesting, and clear video/audio. The big complaint for these language videos is audio, and this one is very clear.

  • häferl is in d kanne würd ich sagen

  • LOL I will become a guinea pig next week! That's hilarious. I'll listen for it so I don't get confused.

  • grossartiger dialekt .... (meiner ;) ....

  • "Can I become a Sausage?" =D

  • You're so cute xD

  • Dein englisch is geil x3

  • hehe... a rotz ist bei mir das, was mir aus der nase rinnt ;p

  • Hi, is people from, say Innsbruck and Salzburg speak like you? :)

  • well... In Salzburg I think the dialect sounds similar but I guess in Innsbruck they talk differently... :)

  • i see..i like how people from Innsbruck talk :)

PS. was heißt denn Playlist auf Österreichisch.

  • phu... gute Frage... ich weiß net, obs da was eigenes gibt.

  • @nala2409 Ich würde sagen "a Saummisurium" also "ein Sammelsurium" ;-)

  • @nala2409 spülistn oder musiwisch?

  • a Spinnarin is also a strange person because sie spinnt ;) so spiderman is in Austria a male strange person a Spinner ... you can ad it

  • They're not boring :-) Du sollst mehr machen :-)

  • Ich liebe dein Videos :DD

  • haha this is immense

im from upper austria too. yayay

btw your english is really good too :D

  • i only understand railwaystation

    ich verstehe nichts

    i versteh nix

    i can't/don't understand (you)

  • Thank you, this was so interesting to watch. My father is Austrian and I've never heard of these before.

  • hallo nala. muss dir zuerst danken fuer die videos. hob nen vorschlag, wenn i's stellen darf. koennteste mal a (paar) video(s) machen ueber die grammatik von deinem dialekt? z.B. i woas, dass ihr nicht "ein/eine/ein" oda "der/die/das" sagt, bin mir aber net sicher wie ihr's sagt. is es einfach "a/a/a" oda was? die einfachen dinge waeren vielleicht ein bisschen langweilig fuer die meisten, aber ich will dein dialekt richtig lernen. find ich's so schoen!

  • auch, koennteste sagen ob es regeln gibt fuer wie ihr 'richtige' deutsche woerte sagt? z.B. bisschen = bissl, al~ = oi~ (also/oiso, alta/oida), eigentlich = eigentli (hoffe, i hob die richtig gesschriebn..). wie gesagt, ich will dein dialekt lernen, i ko aba jetz net mal nach oesterreich. ;_;

  • you could dedicate more lessons to us! (i)!!

  • I really like your Austrian German clips!

  • du bist der hamma!

  • Please feel free to teach us in German whatever you want. And please, don't be stressed about me. I really love Austria and its people like I said to you then. Sometimes I'm sad because people often judge appearances for reality. And they don't always match. Gruße.

  • Yes I admit, I'm not such a communicative type as you are, probably because I took school much too way serious (And I regret). There could be several of additional reasons, but I just don't want to open the Pandora's box. But I really apreciate the communicative persons, and I really apreciate you, and I find your german lessons very interesting. So thank you very much Nala.

  • So instead of dealing with my arguments they hadn't anything to do but insulting me. And this is it. Secondly, I know I didn't show much of my face in my videos, but I just figured that people is more interested in how I play than how I look. I'll try to be more communicative the next time, and music is just one hobby of mine (I graduated music high-school). I could have talked about economics and politics and science, but I was afraid that people would have eaten their fill with boring.

  • Well, hi Nala. First I need to apologize because I drove you in some kind of fog, about myself. I closed my previous account because I left some comments that infuriated few of my citizens and I just wanted them to lost my trace. I was just tired to arguing with them. (They wanted to show off with their Ferrari and Lamborghini saying that Romania is a magic country to live into, so I reminded them the cruel reality, which seemed to have pissed them off).

  • Could I ?

  • very informative videos thank you i really enjoyd it!
