It's so true. And what kills me is thinking of these pets, who've basically been kept and loved in a safe place their entire lives suddenly being just thrown into a cage in a strange place. Imagine how scared and lonely they must be. Where is the human to whom they'd been so faithful for all those years? To be tossed out like garbage is horrible thing to do to something that has given you nothing bug love.

Tony, I've read a lot about greyhounds and how so many of them are abandoned after they become "less useful" to the racing industry. Please feel free to share this. Hopefully, this will help get the word about about these wonderful pets.
I love old dogs more than just about anything. They are aged to perfection, so sweet, wise, and wonderful, and so in need of your care and looking after, and they know it, and they love you so much. How can anyone not return that love?
