Photophobia is the medical term. ive got it and its not a nice when it gets bad. google it the effects from bright lights are quite bad. i have to wear sunglasses on bright days, or when i go out to a bar or club with bright lights. if he has got it then no wonder he wears them all the time with all the camera flashs. read up before you comment

I believe the point Bono is making is between real religion and false which he and Scripture abhors.

I'm not saying don't read it as a work of fiction, but be sure not to misconstrue it's rendering of truth according to theology as instructive. Dialogue is a good thing, wherever it happens. But really apart from a few comments, most of this back and forth has just focused on the origin/intent of the song's message.

I saw these guys in Detroit in the early 90s on the ZOO TV tour. I was in the 23rd row, and Bono had just ordered pizza for the first 20 rows...
