I don't like that the driver isn't holding the steering wheel steady in the game when you hold it still..

@juljulkuk The driver doesn't hold it steady cuz the car is driving off road and the wheels don't exactly cruise over dirt.

Here's a tip if you have an armchair with horizontal arms, but no suitable table to clamp a driving wheel to:

Take a plank of wood 6" across and long enough to sit on top of the arms of the chair, with your legs underneath. Screw a screw-hook into each end of the plank; use a couple of bungie cords looped under the chair to secure in place.  You may find that some self adhesive rubber sheet on the underside of the plank keeps it fiirmly in place.

I got this game about two weeks ago. The first two or three days I played that game i really grown up .. I was really Good. Playing with the Controller.

Today I got my Wheel (bought it because of some videos.. i thought: omg, it's completely different and very funny, i mean hey it's easy with a wheel...) yeah. i got it. i connected it and .. i f*cked up. i lost my skills because of that wheel. i cannot play with it. WHY? THIS IS HILARIOUS! D:

Or press the LT to brake a little bit and move de analog stick and then relese LT and start tapping very quickly RT :P

@WMDFoxhound brake into the corner, but not hard cause you'll lock up the wheels making it impossible to turn. Crank the wheel in the direction of the turn while flooring it, which spins the tires enabling a drift. Then while you're in the middle of your turn about to spin out, crank the wheel back to the direction of the road surface to counter-act the spin and re-aline your car. But that's just how I do it. :) Just takes practise. Happy drifting.

Codemasters butchered Dirt 2. What happened to the emphasis on point-to-point racing and hill climbing? There's not enough of that in this game. Don't get me wrong it's still an awesome game, but it's sad to see that the focus isn't on real rally racing anymore. After all, the franchise used to be called Colin McRae Rally for christ's sake.

I like DiRT 2 and NFS Shift, both fun to play with wheel. Everything from graphics to gameplay is great, just I wish it would have more cars and tracks, cuz there are maybe less than 10 rally cars to choose from, so that's kinda disappointing, but maybe they will come with extra downloadable content later.

Wheel works great with all codemasters games Like Grid and DiRT 2. It's very hard to turn standing in place, and pretty easy then going slow on asfalt, feels great on gravel, you can feel all bumps and it's much more stiff going throw dirt and gravel.

it looks great, it's great to play. The only problem is that there is only a few rally races and rally cars in a rally game.. all others is just nosense with jeeps and similar offroad stuff that isn't a rally at all.

yes, up to eight players can race on any track, but on rally tracks you are racing only with shadows.. and on others with normal cars, so you can try to damage them and etc. :)
