I connect my guitar to my PC though the line in. It plays okay with a bit of lag through the speakers. But when i open up amplitube 3, all I get is weird noise like the noise that you get from an amp when you get a call on your phone, but only faster......please help me man.
I know for a fact that this is a studio..i saw it right after he went and bought it..there was a lot of work he put in to it and time..and yes he does have the before, during, and after pics to show the progress of the work..so get over it and quit arguing about something you don't know for a fact!

well number one the ser number is 03204578....call GIBSON at your earliest convenience..to find out what my guitar came from the factory as. all les pauls are made on the same jig,not every les paul has a curly maple top..which is the techinical term..not FLAMED... im not sure who owns the studios you've seen..but they obviously smoke too much around their guitars to make the inlays yellow.. as far as the binding goes..its car paint..dupont to be exact.

@20bigguy I...with my bare hands.. did in fact refinish this guitar...so before you get over your head "brotha"..id like to say i've played guitars now for almost 27 years... and have set up,repaired and refinished many many many..so please don't get into a pissing contest about this..i know what i'm talking about..after all.. 35 years of living sure can make you wise..
i find it hard to believe that you made that guitar look like a standard, first off, the binding does not come on a studio, the inlays on a studio are yellowed, a studio does not have a flame maple top it has a maple slab top, so in order to do that, you would have had to sand it down, take the edge off the guitar and then puta new cap on it, about $1200 worth of work. highly doubt it all
@20bigguy heres a little more info on my guitar...it did in fact come with a curly maple top...studios also do not come with pearl inlay GIBSON on the head stock... they are silk screened..but i had it done for 125$ at a place in sparta tennessee..called custom fretted inst. by a very nice lady named Joy. oh..and if youre seeing older studios..the yellowing will be from nitro cellulose laquer..which is used on high end instruments..

Call gibson and bitch at them for putting that kind of a top on it and then painting over it.I seen played the guitar before and after. He did all the work himself cost was in materials. Tada

This doesn't seem to load up in Amplitube for me.. I'm using a Mac and put it in the preset folder but it's nowhere to be found. It's the right extension, but looking at it, the picture (icon) isn't the same for the ones that already there and the one I downloaded. Any help?

awesome tone man, iv listened to 'appetite' for over 20 years, you got the tone EXACTLY right! The comments about the gain level are probably because some people are used to hearing the album through sound systems with different EQ set ups or they have low quality computer speakers, etc...ps. can you remember the amp u used?

@phonz0 in the mix it probably sounds great though? producers tend to cut the bass from the gtr's to leave room for the bass.

Put the preset in a rar and upload it to megaupload, mediafire, etc, etc just an idea. Uploading a preset it's not illegal ;D

its on my computer...instead of emailing it to everyone..would like to just put it somewhere so you guys could down load it..because..answering hundreds of emails...well just gets a bit tiresome.. i dont mind as long as i have time..but its kinda limited.

awesome tone man, iv listened to 'appetite' for over 20 years, you got the tone EXACTLY right! The comments about the gain level are probably because some people are used to hearing the album through sound systems with different EQ set ups or they have low quality computer speakers, etc...ps. can you remember the amp u used?

i have hundreds of emails and comments on this afd tone with amplitube3...i wish i could set something up so i could share with all you..im flooded with emails and i know i forgetting people..and to those i have forgotten please forgive me.. if anyone here knows how to set up a situation so i can post the preset and all you guys can just down load it...please come forward and help me please...lol thanks for all your support guys

great tone! the intro to sweet child just blew me off!! I know the tone starts at the fingertips but it's amazing what you gout with what is essential a refinished stock LP Studio, right?
soooo... I'll just step in line and ask for the preset to see how well is works with my burny LP copy :$ just for science's sake... ;)

@ALBIE60 listen.. lol ... you really should listen very closely to the album...the gain used on the record was not over the top...it was a 1969 marshall plexi head... thay didn't get very over driven.. also listen to the sweet child o mine full cover i have here, was recorded with the same exact preset that i have made here and its super close to the original song...but thanks for watching and listening.

I just downloaded (Cracked) SHHHH Amplitube 3.... I am a keyboard player but use it with A lot of guitar libraries such as Musiclab real strat....
Sounds awesome...I also play electric a little... But Amplitube 3 really makes my guitar playing sound good....

Try free amp sims they have better gain, but more noise. Use Noise Gate in front

@liarschair10 I don't think he meant that you would like no more he said "but more noises" i think he meant better gain but the noises are the down side and then he said use noise gate to prevent the noise.
