How do you check what kind of video card you have? I have a quad processor and I can't even run the game past medium detail without getting a slideshow. And that's AFTER taking out things like grass and water reflection.

I heard Oblivion has trouble with managing Dual Core processors and that it uses mostly just 1 core, i have Dual Core too but it runs fast.

I dunno. I got a new pc. 6000+ dual core and 3 gigs ram with a GeForce 8800 GT, runs oblivion way better.

in oblivion is an hour equal to a real life hour? or is it shorter

It's much much shorter. I dont know how it compares, but an entire day in oblivion is less than an hour in real time I believe.

By default it's about 1:30 I think.

Actually, An hour in Oblivion is about 10 mins real time =)
