@TheJahanzaib71 None of the present leaders are good leaders but that is not the point. The point is to allow a system to develop and not wait for a messiah or dictator. After 2 or 3 cycles of bad leaders and voting, a greater sense of accountability and sense of democracy will evolve- just as it has in other 3 rd world countries. You may wish that Egypt keep Mubarak, Tunisia Ben Ali and all other dictators but in time, if every citizen works for a system- things will change for the better.

@sheengold . Pakistan is the successor state to Muslim South Asia- it is meant to be a modern democratic state based on rule of law and the constitution. Whatever shortcomings we have have witnessed is our own fault. We have not followed the wisdom of our founders but we insist on hero worship. When we all follow the laws, constitution and respect ourselves as equals, leaders won't matter. The system will run itself as is the case in most western nations. Your true love Nawaz Sharif had brought the country to the verge of default and his dismissal was imminent. It was a joint decision of Judiciary, bureaucracy and the army. 9 wonderful years marked by extraordinary economic development and a crackdown on militants that had been terrorising Pakistanies.
