@Renma2010 well when you make something like a gun for a video game, you have to make sure it works, this telsa coil was put in a random spot normally unaccessable outside the capital wasteland probably because this area has to do with the expansion pack for testing, but was never removed for an unknown reason

Both Tesla Cannons are rather... well... disappointing... I was expecting a weapon that could down a Vertibird in a single blast. Since the Tesla Cannon appears to have been developed to replace Liberty Prime - who acted as "Anti-Air" as well as the main battering ram in BoS offensives. But it takes over five shots to even make a dent! The Guass rifle can down a Vertibird in five shots, and kill a Hellfire Trooper with three headshots or less (100 En. W, 6 LCK, Better Criticals)

@xxxslipknotguyxxx As I found out after checking the f3 wiki, the tesla cannon can down a vertibird in one shot, but only if it is airborne - scripting overlook by the devs. The beta one is more of a novelty than anything, and the official one is still a bit crap for what it is. I'm happy with my Guass rifle lol.

Oh, and the Terrible Shotgun deals an insane amount of damage. The f3 wiki claims it can kill a behemoth in a single sneak attack critical head shot, with the better criticals perk

@BloodSurreal Next time you play, take your Tesla cannon with you. With you see a Vertibird that has landed and isn't leaving or anything, take a shot at it. Chances are, it won't explode in the first shot. Whereas if you hit one that is in flight, it'll explode instantly.

@sdngngf Not proving you wrong here, just saying that if you wanted to try and raise your Big Guns skill up to 100, then there's a glitch where you can get an infinite number of the Big Guns skill books from a Raider carrying a Flamer in the Bethesda Ruins. I haven't tried this glitch out yet, but if Bethesda hasn't fixed it, then your Big Guns skill could be raised to 100 with no skill points being added.
