No, I wrote the song from plaques in the tzofim Bet Am in 1986. Then on my last day ever at camp (1988)I wrote the words out on a plaque so that the camp would never lose them. There are many plaques quoted besides Creative BS.

Matan is correct. I pulled the words from plaques during an all camp staff meeting in the summer of '86. Although not EVERY single word is from a plaque. In fact, the words, "Keep the Hill Alive" are not on a plaque at all (at least it wasn't back in the summer of '86). It is actually paraphrased from something that was written in the Chalutzim/Olim Bet Am above the door. It said, "to my friends, I love you all, don't let the hill die". Seeing that a few years prior gave me the original idea.
