  • I saw him at the Cafe Wah in the village in 66 before he went to England and built the Experience , then after that numerous times until the company killed him . *****

  • I Remember Seeing Him sitting In Washington Square Park that was 1966....I was 15..I didnt Know who he was until his album came out in 67..You Saw him at The Cafe Wha on Mcdougal st ? WOW!!!That Mustve Been great.....Were The same Age I Believe...But What Company are you Talkin about Killing him???

  • the company composed of secret agent men.

  • AHH The JFK Guys!!!!

  • 66 i was 16 The Wha only sold expensive soft drinks , He was a great guitarist that played his fender upside down thats all we knew , during the Nixon era the Company started killing anyone who brought together large groups of people to protest. You cant convince me professional drug takers like Hendrix and Morrison didn't know how much dope to take.

  • Good Point!!!I dont Know about Professional Drug Takers..I was an Amatuer I guess and A few of My Friends Overdosed So its Not Entirely Out of the Realm Of Things...Drugs Dont Make you Smart.. under their influence You Do Stupid Things Sometimes..Look at My First marriage!!!LOL!!!!!!

  • Just a theory that comes from 30 years of working for the company . but I had quite a youth myself . ;o)tm

  • They Got the Guns But we Got the Numbers!!!..(the Doors)

  • Ill stick with the retirement to St Croix in 2 years and just keep my head down till then lol , Have a good day Carl :o)tm

  • yeah, a friend of mine went to that Band of Gypsies Fillmore show. I saw a lot of great shows at the Fillmore. Sabbath's first NYC show, Derek and the Dominoes, Mountain, Humble Pie, The Faces, man the list goes on and on. I got to meet Alvin Lee of Ten Years After too.I don't mind being old, I wouldn't trade those days for anything. I was at Woodstock too. I thought I recognized you. :) LOL!
