Well Whitney's voice sounded different in the 80s than it did in the 90s and we loved it regardless. In the 90s there was more power and more soul. I agree it may not return to how we remembered it but Whitney's Whitney regardless. We may just be surprised with this new sound. Btw she sounds like Dionne no?

@taurusg32 Even if she were to stop smoking, the voice would not just return like that. Her vocal damage began before she even started smoking and living unhealthily. Gasping for air does not necessarily mean she is smoking. In case you didn't know, she had a respiratory infection since she started the tour, causing major inconsistency in her voice.
