Same as my grandads, same midnight blue, black interior, but has wires with white walls and new paintjob and chrome. Pretty sweet even though I love Chevy
Them Old Birds back then had Some Big Top End Speed. It was said that all cars would have sequential turn signals but it didn't happen. I liked there slide away steering column too. Them old birds had some very futuristic options some happened some didn't.
It's sad that many t-birds like this are left to die in junkyards, but it feels good to see this car in one piece, very nice car & the condition of it is just beautiful, sweet engine too!! For 8,950....Damn, if I had the money I would buy it, but hopefully she'll go to a good home. Cars today sucks because it's computer controlled crap. Cars back then were easy to maintain. Your vids are awesome, keep them coming, peace!!
T-Birds don't get near enough credit. They didn't fun with Vettes too well, but they came out with options out the ass, and cool stuff you don't see in any other car. Gotta love the torque of a 390. One thing everyone figured out (but chevy) the HP sticker on your air cleaner means nothing when you have torque to back it up. I'd say the best example would be Cadillac, lol.
I love the old T-birds. They have a cool look. We had a pink 79 with a 350 that hauled, but was too pimpy. The old ones really are sweet. great video thanks Jeff.
@kookiemoose I've had a couple of Tbirds over the years. I really like these mid 60's models. I really like the nice original interior on this one. Thanks for checking it out.
