  • Go Lakeman!!!

    (I miss Trebek's pornstache!)

  • I agree! Although the groovy sideburns were also classic.

  • Could you upload more Jeopardy episodes?

  • I miss the dollar values popping up onto the board along with the beeping noises.

  • Juneau now has 35,000 people... Just updating that...

  • @Bozewani

ITS EATING PEOPLE, HOW CAN WE STOP IT!

  • After repeated requests for the end credits sequence on this episode, I have added them as Lakeman on Jeopardy_pt3

  • If I can, I would upload Ken's 1st.

But I'm having a hard time finding the necessary hardware for my capture system.

  • I thought school starts the first tuesday in September.

  • Speaking of Ken, GSN will start airing his run on Monday!

  • Notice the first time Tom gets a correct answer he forgets the amount of Crossword Clues A, and the time he gets a correct answer and goes to the same category he nearly forgets the amount.

  • Sometimes the players just don't pay attention to the number of letters in the response.

  • What's wrong with these voices?

  • Do you have the episode that you can show us that you only won 2nd place?

  • Those categories didn't sound exciting.

  • What's with the grate in front of the camera at 18 seconds?

  • They always showed it when introducing the second player.

  • Well at least you won one game. A lot of contestants struggle to win 3 to 4 times. That show seems hard for me, but I'm not a trivia person. I'm more of an artist. But who can beat the new record of winning Jeopardy! 74 times in a row?! I forgot his name, but he won over $2 million.

  • oh well, 1994 is the TRUE tenth anniversary anyways

  • Lakeman looks like a Devo stuntman

  • hmm. good point :O

  • There should be more episodes of "Jeopardy!" between 1984 and 1997 uploaded on here.

  • I also hope that there will be more episodes between the first 13 years. There should also be closing credits, as well

  • from 1994-95 season.

  • Actually, this is from the 1993-94 season.

  • oh i just used my theory that jeopardy's first season was the 84-85, then the 10th anniversary as the 1994-95 season; my theory was to add 10 to both 84-85 to equal 94-95. thanks for the answer though.

  • That's right, and also, the 1993-94 season was the last season that "Jeopardy!" taped shows at Hollywood Center Studios. The following season (1994-95), "Jeopardy!" taped shows at Sony Pictures Studios and the show still does today, as does "Wheel of Fortune", which didn't move to Sony until the 1995-96 season after six years of taping at CBS Television City in Hollywood from 1989-95.

  • The 1993-94 season was also the last season where Merv Griffin Enterprises produced the show.

  • "People for 400."

  • Okkkk....and????

  • I was quoting what Walter said before he found the "Daily Double".

  • Uh, lol, ok....at 2:26, Ginny's pause looks like she doesn't know how to play the game....that's pretty dumb, I mean, 'cause look at the other contestants....whenever they get a clue right, it's their turn to pick....she needs to pay attention more....

  • Yeah.

  • Celbriing it's 10th Year as America's favorite answer and question show. This is Jeopardy!

  • That was the intro for all of "Jeopardy!"'s 10th season.

  • Congratulations on your win!! I sure miss this old background!! Doesn't everyone miss it? This show is 4 years older than me, and when I was born, the background did change from blue to red, but the very VERY old one -- season 4 I assume.

    --Mathew

  • I think the set in use right now turns red in final Jeopardy! But it should turn for double Jeopardy.

  • Where where you tapeing, that it would have been a shame for Rogers to see? If you want to say, if not that's alright.

  • And the champ was from Salt Lake City. Does he know Ken Jennings?

  • Note that at the beginning of this video, there's a swooshing sound effect.

  • Yup, and they used to have it at the beginning of the Jeopardy! round as well before the dollar values popped up onto the board.

  • I miss the old Jeopardy with the creepy synthesizer and bongos in the theme song and the cheap production values. Those were the days.

  • Comment removed

  • Yes. My students were curious about my appearance, and it was close to the end of the semester, so I improvised within my technical limits.

  • Will we see part 3?

  • It might be vanity on my part, but I didn't triumph on the second day, so I'm doing my best to pretend that one doesn't exist! I appreciate the interest, though.

  • I do the exact same thing. :)

    Class of '02-'03

  • Did you ever get on The Ultimate Tournament of Champions?

  • Unfortunately I lost the second day, so that was my one moment in the spotlight. I had a blast, though.

  • ..by busy, I mean Bushy. I'm sure busy can be applied in some way too, though.

  • Even back then, Trebek's mustache seemed vaguely dated. As did his giant glasses.

I owe the collard greens question to my grandmother. You may notice how deer-in-the-headlights I looked up until then.

me = big-time nerd. Make it so.

  • Wow, Alex Trebek's mustache is awesome... It's like a fuzzy-mammoth catepillar has grown straight out of his face, it's bizarre. Bizarre and disturbing, in a busy way.

    Collard greens?

    ...

    you = nerd

  • Kinda screaming your name are ya. TOM!!

  • Hey Mr. Lakeman it's malcolm, i bet you felt really good after beating that enviornmental scientist

  • I love that you posted an old episode of Jeopardy! And you got around the copyright rule. Since you are in this video.

  • gotta love jeopardy

  • hey you're jeff's teacher
