Everytime I see this movie, I weep. Because I am Marigold - except my story ended tragically. I found my prince in Egypt in 1981 and lost him to an arranged marriage. I have never gotten over him and I know he has never gotten over me.There is not a day goes by that I do not think of him and in my dreams he often appears. My story is what would have happened to Marigold. These transatlantic/transcultural loves often end tragically as tradition is too strong for most people to oppose.

I saw this movie on Netflix for the first time tonight. I really loved it. They really had me going and I thought there was gonna be a sad ending. In real life there probably would be no happy surprises....but since it was a movie.......they just couldn't let us down :-)

I remember constantly looking at this movie at the video store and finally when i rented it i LOVED IT i watched it over and over again and then bought it Ali Larter did a great job she is a beautiful actress and this is the first movie i've seen Salman Khan in i thought he was extremely talented actor and dancer and surprisingly attractive
