@BlastGnar question........how do u know where the street is exactly? because when i play i have a hard time finding the street im looking for?

@CountryDude18 i haven't played this game in a while but i'm pretty sure letter streets go from left to right and numbers go from down to up. sometimes there are buildings in the way but everything is pretty easy to find if you drive around for a while.

6. First aid kits should be much easier to find, and in greater numbers.

7. The same goes to tommy guns, and tear gas.

8. When you go to arrest your suspect, they should resist arrest, triggering a small boss battle.

9. The gangster sprites should actually resemble their movie counterparts! And Tracy's face should not be orange.

10. REMOVE ALL SNIPERS!!!!

Okay, listen up people! If I had the programming skills, and the time, I would make "Dick Tracy - Redux". A version where I would fix all the things that is wrong with this game. Because it had the potential of being a great game, honestly.

1. I would make Tracy able to shoot unarmed thugs.

2. I would add at least 5 continues.

3. You keep your clues after a game over screen.

4. The driving should be much less complicated.

5. The select button activates a map screen.

@anton1990 Great idea. Actually I am ok with no shots at unarmed people it give more challenge. I think of new game based on this one. with 3d graphics something good like old GTA 3 & San Andreas will be fine. More clues and levels, enemies that are look more like in the movie. more weapons, more cars , talking with people etc. etc. will be great to remake Dick Tracy, problem is that I don't know nothing about programming :(

the AVGN says you have to hold select and press b.

but if you press select you skip to the next item, so you have to press select one item BEFORE the heart, hold it and then press b :)

I think the game would have been quite nice without the snipers. Dick tracy was quite popular at the time of the game, and the concept of this game is still quite rare, finding clues and playing the detective.

If you want to stock up on First Aids in the first case, 4th & B Shoe Repair - unplayable for the entire level - is a good place to go. It's hidden on the second floor, I believe.
