  • Does anybody know her name? She must be famous for this routine because she performed it in "Butterfly Lovers", too. She is so amazing.

  • That girl is a damn rubber band

  • this completely defies the laws of physics. which might be why i watched it in physics class....

  • it took two minutes to perfect!!! easy...]

  • My jaw is still on the ground. That was AMAZING!!!

  • Awesome!

  • omg!!!!

  • @OrigaOLIVIA by the way. I have a Chinese background and was born in Australia. :)

  • Most Asians r born naturally flexible. Maybe some can do the splits with only little practice. I have done ballet for nearly nine years and god, I've turned more flexible. This Chinese circus have all been practiced to be like that woman. I was wondering how on earth can only Asians be flexible naturally? Even not like the video above. Of course others r flexible, but asians r like too cool for school!! But that was amazing. Dina might be poor as.. But watching this made me feel like god, they

  • i kept saying OMG OMG while watching this! she's a monster! what a flexible body! superb performance!!!!!!

  • i feel so inadequate as a person. not even specifically as a dancer... but OMG.

  • Astonishing I love u both

  • OMG!How can this be it's impossible

  • Difficulty level: Asian

  • @barisaxkid LOL That's funny! XD

  • WHEN I STARTED TO WATCH IT, I DID NOT BLINK AT ALL.............

  • what a great ballerina. she got a beautiful body shape, I cant believe how she do it. it's really amazing, really amazing!!! she should go to the Olympics!!!!! she has put a lot of strength to it, and a lot of time. I love it soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. wish if I could do them.

and i like to thanks everybody who uploaded it. Many thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • WHy arent they givin her a standing ovation?!! Holy Crap?!!! That was amazing!!!

  • Oh, my gosh! My mouth was a gaping hole through this entire video.

  • It's sad that so many people are so impressed by this. It means they have never seen and heard Swan Lake performed by a good Western ballet company.

The performance was ruined by the audience, whose applause drowned Tchaikovsky's music at times. Not that Youtube sound quality does justice to Tchaikovsky - but it tells you something about the audience.

  • @Balletomane100 or it means that they just really appreciate the performance..

  • @Balletomane100 What are you on about? It isn't a ballet. It's a circus performance. Got nothing to do with appreciating ballet. Who could help but applaud at seeing the result of amazing training, hard work and talent, making fantastic entertainment. Of course if u go to see the ballet you don't applaud after every dance, but it's the circus!

  • so strong, graceful and lovely

  • omg, me hands are all wet for her...whew~

  • Has everyone noticed the caption of the video? it says "Swank Lake". Anyways, twas amazing <3

  • Life!

  • Amazing = Understatement!

  • what posture!

  • Holy Craappee!

  • O M G.

  • yup we chinese people are awesome :) <3

  • can't even begin to comprehend the amount of labor that went into performing this act.... amazing

  • That is incredible! I would LOVED to have seen this live. Some people are so largely talented.

  • magnifique!

  • 偉大!

  • their acrobatic skills are beyond the awesome! and the lady is so gorgeous! just wonder how deeply they have devoted their lives to the Chinese circus.

  • just amazing, dread to think what agony it took to achieve such perfection.

  • nice view

  • IMPOSSIBLE!!! -I would say that, but they're chinese, saying that something is impossible just gets on their ambition... AMAZING.

  • Its more like shes doing qymnastics...its amazing.though

  • damn asians...

  • AWESOME! I ENVY HER@!!!!!

  • IMPOSIBRUUUU!!!!!!!

  • This is ballet like a boss!!!

  • <3 this video. There are many amazing performers/athletes/artists of many different fields in China because they scout for kids with potential at a very early age. ie bone structure, posture, flexibility, singing voice, intonation, balance, etc. then they put the kids through special training programs throughout their education. Whereas the US (where I live now) keeps cutting funding in education with arts and sports programs being the firsts to go...

  • @Faerilyn I feel your pain

  • @Faerilyn

Totally agree! Seems like in a lot of countries, only sports is the way to go. Arts is second-tier.

  • Who is she? pleaseee!!!

  • that is amazing!!!

  • i love the acrobatics, but i really think ballet and acrobatics shouldnt mix

  • AMAZING!

  • ummm.. ya, a girl dances on my head for a living... hbu?

  • WoW, this is so cool!!

  • 0:36 well, there'd be a big problem if she suddenly had her period.

  • us it cheerleading or Ballet??? either way it go it still was beautiful

  • This Is so amazing!!!!!

  • 0:48 I DIED.

  • the chinese would do this.

  • She's a Chinese acrobat in ballet shoes. I've seen the acrobats several times and they do similar types of moves.

  • AMAZING!!

  • O mundo e chinês ,até nos clássicos

    Fantastico

  • Congratulations!!! Fantastic job!

  • thats not classical ballet its acrobatic

  • Awesome, thank you for sharing....

  • Breathtakingly beautiful.

  • he makes her seem weightless...that was amazingly beautiful though!

  • 練這是受了多少苦啊~~

  • HOLYSHITTHATSREALLYGOOD

  • oh my jesus.. lol

  • Super crazy bu amazingly done! :)

  • She is ridiculously perfect. UNBELIEVABLE!

  • Yet another example how the Chinese, after first copying stuff from the West, decide they can do it themselves, but better!

  • she makes it look so easy

  • This is mind blowing!! <3

  • Well, I've looked and looked,...and I cant see any wires.....her balance is just breath taking!

  • Simply sensational - what an outstanding display of artistry !!!! Stunning.

  • i just laughed my ass off at the info. swank lake....

  • Does anybody know what's her name?

  • ha hab was geiles entdeckt haha

  • Extraordinarios los dos balletistas principales!!

  • So what if there are wires... Can you do it?

    That performance was awesome.

  • Wow...I'm speechless at how amazing that was!!

  • ey mia is langweilig

  • woah! 2:15

  • that girl has got the most beautiful body i have ever seen

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!

  • ok 3:14 it just does not make sense. There is nothing turning her. That's physically impossible. Unless there's something mechanical involved.

  • @theovercastkid it's possible with pointe shoes

  • @juicycouturegirlxo I'm a dancer. What I'm saying is that there's nothing giving her momentum to turn like that. In a pas de duex the man would generally take her hand and turn her, but that's not what's happening. There has to be wires involved in that part or something.

  • @theovercastkid i'm not, excuse my mistake...

  • @theovercastkid

Shifting weight will make her rotate + Balance.

  • @theovercastkid She's actually subtley shifting her leg-it's easier to see in another video than in this one but she rotates her leg quickly in little jerks and then moves her upper body constantly and more slowly. I cannot imagine how she balances while doing this. I love this performance.

  • @theovercastkid She's turning herself, look at her ankle and you'll see it was still turning.

  • @theovercastkid

    promonade on pointe is possible

  • @theovercastkid

She's turning herself. Skilled ballet dancers do that. They have the muscle control to stay balanced in difficult poses and not fall over when they turn. That particular thing she is doing is called a "promenade." I'm a ballet dancer myself and it's not easy to do.

  • @VeronicaCharl10 I've been dancing since I was four years old. I'm 19. Promenade is on flat not en pointe.

  • @theovercastkid

And I'm 24. Clearly it's not entirely impossible because she's doing it. And knowing how strict Chinese dancers are about their art, I wouldn't be surprised if there were no wires involved at all. I bet that this woman is an acrobat on top of being a ballerina, so she's learned how to combine her skills in both to accomplish this.

  • @theovercastkid I'm sorry to tell you, but that's not true. If you take a class on partnering, you spend tons of time doing promenade en pointe.

  • @carissanoelle with a partner turning you.

  • @VeronicaCharl10 Well without a partner turning you, promenading en pointe is impossible.

  • @theovercastkid If you pay attention, the guy took off a cap at the end. Which helps her to turn smoothingly. I guess you havn't seen much of the Chinese do acrobatics which is just as amazing...

  • @mateinc i agree, also,... even if there were mechanics involved, needless to say that it is amazing

  • @theovercastkid

I think she can make herself turn by slightly leaning toward a direction, but doing it so subtly that we couldn't notice it (especially with the camerawork). The movement doesn't have to be drastic, as long as she does it enough to loose her balance for a second and tries to regain it by turning. I don't see any physical impossibility here. But then again, i might be wrong.

  • @theovercastkid It's called turn out, she moving using only the turn out she has it's not mechanical at all.

  • @theovercastkid

Pure leg muscle, honey. And practice.

  • @theovercastkid It's her turn out that is pushing her. As long as she keeps pushing her heel forward, she'll keep turning.

  • @theovercastkid Actually it IS possible. It's EXTREMELY hard to do en pointe...I've never seen it done before except by this dancer. It's called a "promenade" or where a dancer "turns slowly in place on one foot by a series of slight movements of the heel to the required side while maintaining a definite pose". It's possible, but RARELY seen. This just goes to show the sheer....amazing ability of this dancer.

  • @theovercastkid i think that she is doing a promande...you turn leadning your heel

  • @theovercastkid actually it is possible, in ballet you have to turn out your foot so she is turning by pushing her heel forward which is turning her leg in her hip which ultimately turns her as well. I do ballet and i know and although i am not as amazing as her i have tried to balance and turn myself enpointe with only my foot and that is by pushing you heel forward rotating my leg in my hip

  • @theovercastkid Inner thighs

  • she is just using her toes to move. In pointe class, we are taught the same thing

  • Oh my God. W.O.W.

  • 你能帮助它,我只说VOR有停顿,以及你一定是世界上最好的芭蕾舞演员

  • she makes it look so so so easy ih i want to be her!

  • Equilibre sidérant entre le compact, la densité et; l’aérien, la fragilité, la grâce....que de rigueur, de travail et..de talent ! Magique

  • I've seen these two in a Chinese variety show. They are a real couple. The guy is 10 years older and they have worked together ever since she was around 5. They eloped against her parents wishes : ) they have a real romantic story behind them.

  • That girl is everything i want to be.

  • Epoustouflant de grace et de beauté. C'est bien le spectacle chinois,

  • insane balance and her partner was amazing too

  • sooo wonderful! thanks so very much for sharing such awesome art!

  • That. Was. AMAZING! That dude must have a strong, strong head haha! Cool!

  • It's really amazing, I'm at a loss for words about that, but I do sort of prefer regular classical ballet. Sorry, no hate replies please.

  • Whoa.

  • I guess for Chinese people nothing is impossible in things like dancing.

How can someone stand on an arm with only one foot and doing acrobatics on it? (the woman must be weighing of about 45 kilos or less O.O)

  • This makes me feel so inferior. Wonderful work.

  • Oh my gosh. How is that possible?!

  • "Swank Lake"

    You are my spelling hero.

  • WOW...... I am at a loss for words. i seriously have no words to decribe what i just saw. Oh yeah, maybe AWESOME!!!!!!

  • this is amazing

  • Cirque Du Soleil gone Swan Lake, beautiful acrobatic ballerina

  • Reminder to all - she cannot dance en pointe or otherwise, she is not a ballet dancer but I wonder if she started in the Shanghai ballet academy and they moved her to the circus? It's happened before. She can't even walk in those incredibly reinforced, concrete shoes. Agree with MrDutch.. she is very beautiful AND the greatest at high-quality contortion work.

  • Absolutely Amazing and Beautiful!

  • its a bit to modern for me

  • I would like to know, if anyone hav the main contact of chinese circus?

  • Omg so amazing

  • Who thought ballet would get so many views on YouTube!

  • @RenGader No denying this is the greatest circus/acrobatics/contortionist show but it ain't ballet 'cos there is no ballet dancing in it.

  • Unreal

  • She makes Jackie Chan look weak. BRAVO!

  • Perfect!

  • me faz lembrar o filme Cisney negro rs (: muiiiiiiiiiiiiiiito bom !

  • That girl is ugly as fuck, but has great talent.

  • High expectations Asian father probably is pleased.

  • OH SHUT UP AND ENJOY IT

  • No one knows everything. So stop putting other people down. just enjoy the amazing video

  • Omg i am speechless, when i saww this video; this inspired me even more to become a ballerina

  • She's amazing. Her balance (which is crazy), technique, pointe, arch, flexibility, and emotions are all perfect.

What more can i say? Bravo! :)

  • @ponypajamas

Balance for show of circus is good. But for real artists it supposed to be performance with idea, drama and emotions.

What I see here colors, loud music, perfect gymnastics dresses in costumes suitable for Swan lake... it is not a ballet, it is gymnastics and Circus.

  • Why is it that videos of such beauty always have comments related to politics and what not that have absolutely nothing to do with the video? GET A LIFE and just appreciate art for a second, regardless of who it comes from.

  • @coolgal185,"Why is it that videos of such beauty always have comments related to politics"-- well, coz some of the Americans can't stand China r good at anything, they r the ones ALWAYS bad mouth about China; they r so brainwashed by their WS banker-controlled media that they can only repeat what their media hs instilled in their head-bashing China 24/7/365.

Hey, Americans, if u can say anything good about China, just shutup ur dirty mouth & go occupy Wall Street.lol

  • So beautiful.
