Steve apologized and they understood his mistake. Thus, we had TBF. Let by-gones be by-gones. Steve and Ross did. Geesh, Steve wrote an apology song..ANYWAY on his FTLOSM album. I believe that was what helped them come back to do TBF. Steve Smith is reportedly not in the band because he felt "without Steve Perry, What was the point?" ...As Many of us feel today.

This is the part when they talk about firing the other 2 members of the band and brought in Randy Jackson and another drummer... they wanted to change the sound of the band, which they did, and it wasnt happening with Ross and steve smith...
