Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce will always be my Sherlock and Watson, but I absolutely love this series. I keep having dreams about Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock, he's such a gorgeous & talented actor he's even invading my dreams xD Can't wait for around October when the next series is due for release. Apparently it's supposed to have Irene Adler, the Hound Of The Baskervilles, and Reichenbach (the place where Sherlock and Moriarty have their face-off). Kudos to the fans, makers & actors!

This man was a revelation as Sherlock. I fist noticed him in Small Island, where though his character wasn't strong, he still had a presence about him. Then in Atonement and now this. This Holmes is dynamic and has an edge.

Benedict Cumberbatch is fantastic as Sherlock Holmes along with Martin Freeman. And it does help the viewers that next to the engaging plot and dialogue sparkling with wit, the protagonist is rather gorgeous and...(cough*primefangirlingma­terial*cough*)

@farshnuke they have said they will film more Doctor who and Being human is all ready being filmed for series 3. Loved Sherlock, as it has been said many times, the characters are portrayed extremely well and I think well from my point of view Benedict is certainly one to rival David, though Benedict is has more of a appeal in my eyes but David has a all round appeal. So glad they finished on a cliffhanger makes it more interesting! Well done BBC!
