myu= mom and dad have a wonderful marraige b my mom catholic and dad lutheran . however my dad doesn't regularly go to church. it's not that he doesnt believe  but he works VERY HARD for his family but he is the best father ever !!!! and mom and dad love each other very very much

Also concerning the blessing and curse part, my mother married my father outside of these precepts, my dad beat her and almost killed her, time and time again i have seen the same so i decided that i would trust GOD for spouse, even at a young age, and what i have found are very cruel and selfish men, in church that play a role in church but outside they are completely different, i am trusting GOD but people are supposed to work their own soul salvation, sometimes i have given up

Most of these church women are the worst 1's they're 2x as stuck up and arrogant as the worldly women are, and are looking for some GOD in the Flesh to marry instead of a good man. Here's a suggestion stop being soo superficial. Stop looking so deeeep into someone tht you know nothing about, and actually remove the spirit of fear and go out and see what a man s about instead of PREJUDGING. A lot of you foolish women have probably discernd your way right on out of a potentially good relationship.

You are correct. Discernment is the Key Factor here... Let me put this another way: Women should be looking for Men who are Willing to Accept Responsibility to be the Spiritual Leader in the Relationship. So naturally, your circumstances for attendance (among many other men) are exceptional... as are those for men who Must Work during times of Worship Services, etc... However, I do believe that men should be Actively Involved and Invested in a "Local Church", even if they cannot always attend.

A man that claims he is a strong Christian must show the following points that you listed, but if he doesn't attend church that woman must have the discernment of the Lord & figure out why the reason would be for him not attending Church. I do strongly believe however that it is important to attend to church. Lately I have been attending Home Group church services rather than going to an official church. (PART 2 CONT.) I am in the military and being deployed, you are unable to attend church, other than going to Chapel services that the unit Chaplain holds. I do not attend to these chapel services because I personally feel and believe that the messages preached by the Chaplain are dead sermons. God calls for us to seek Him out in prayer and so rather than attending church service on Sundays during a deployment, I spend my time in prayer. (CONT.)

I agree with your comment going to church is not that important is about the relationship that you have with your savior

I am not a man. I am actually a woman and I just wanted to clarify that. I have been having this argument with one my close friend about finding my mate in church . I think that a man his just not perfect because he goes to church. The most important thing is that he knows God and has a personal relationship with him. Being a church doesnt guarante the road to heaven.

@230874339 Ah my apologies miss. I know you don't know who I am or anything, but I've been through some tough things in life & I can tell hat a man is not perfect just because he goes to church. A real man is someone who holds God before himself, who demonstrates himself in a respectful and Godly manner and who acts like a man, not like a child like so many men do these days where all they want to do is go about and fornicate, get high, and drink. I pray the Lord gives you a good man. :)

One thing I disagree with you sir on is the fact about church. Yes, it is very good to go to church and attend in fellowship with your fellow Christians. However, just because a Christ-like, devoted Christian man does not attend church on a regular/weekly or even monthly basis does NOT mean that he is in peril with his relationship with the Lord nor does it mean that he is not a godly man. There are many factors that can lead to a man not being able to attend church. (PART 1 CONTINUED)

WHERE in scripture do you find ANY support for the notion that "God is choosing" mates for men or women? WHERE? After all we know that God doesn't make us choose him, we have free will, why would he make us choose someone.

Beyond that your advice for women is sound and scriptural but where is a comparable list of tips for Christian men? Any man who would pass a test of the list here would find the selection of women in the average church very slim pickins', I us the word "slim" very loosely....

Thank you for pointing out my Mistake in using a Phrase that might lead some people to a wrong conclusion. I should be more careful in my use of such phrases like; "God has someone Special". My Intent was to express God's Providence and Direction in our lives, when we Choose His Will over our own Selfish Lusts. Not that He Decides for us. Although I believe that most people understand this, I should not take it for granted. We Are Certainly Free to choose, So Choose Wisely.
