I love that Catfish... still do... I'm not a huge fan of live feeding unless it's necisarry but whatever. At least the fish you are/were keeping had a good home. Most Clarias and Plecos get crammed into tiny tanks.

I was about to ask 'how did you get a clarias cat', then i was thinking maybe you live in florida and caught it yourself. When i was a kid, in the 1970's, my mom bought a two inch albino clarias, and she thought it was the same as like a corydora, or something- she put it in the nursery tank, and it ate almost every single baby swordtail. I had that fish for about 6 yrs, I used to bring it to show and tell at school. Once, at 3 am it jumped outta the tank, my mom tried to pick it up off the flr

That was a cool fish. he could jump out of his tank in the middle of the night, and you could wake up at eight in the morning, and put him back in his tank and he would be unhurt, just covered with dust and cobwebs and stuff.

sorry i ment to reply to your catfish comment not the plec comment, so it was the catfish that killed my 2 oscars not the plec, but my plec is the boss of my tank and when he gets angry he get very aggressive and he will chase a fish and try and crush it against my tank, or he will just sit on them, mainly my albino oscar he sits on.

With the long whiskers, continuous dorsal fin, small eyes, and eel-like body it looked like a Walking Catfish. But I'd never heard of a calico-colored. I know there are albinos and regulars but never knew half/half. Didn't know these guys ate fish. BEUTIFUL fish tho
