@luckichrm003 It's her dying New Zealand accent. She's said in many interviews that it comes back every now and then when she's around Australians and Brits- and obviously, other Kiwis. And since this is a British show, it makes sense why it's so strong here as compared to other interviews- she's just subconsciously falling back on how she used to talk because their accent reminds her of the one she grew up with. It happens when she's around Hugh Jackman, Stephen Moyer, and Ryan Kwanten, too.

Can i also add, that people often do slip in and out of their natural accents depending on the company. For example, i have a friend who has been in the UK for 15 years and when we first start chatting she has a thick pommy accent, then suddently she'll say some things in a very thick australian accent, then back again, slipping to and fro. It's quite natural. If you dont understandhen maybe you should become a little more worldly or find friends who have stepped outside your neighbourhood

I think the issue is is that actors are expected to carry american accents in these shows, so one minute she's 'herself' then another she's swapping... she probably doesn't even realise she's doing it, it's so habitual for her.
